BigWimp - Yeah man, I'll keep you to date on registration. For anyone that is interested, "Regis", means king in latin, and when you register a vehicle, you are the registered keeper of the Department of Motor vehicle's Vehicle. This is why "your" property can receive speeding tickets, get impounded, etc. If you don't register, that is more illegal, therefore they can just do whatever they wanted to do anyways. Fun Fsct.
06BlackPearl - Thanks! I would if I could though! The Honda get's great gas milage, and the Romney Motorsports said people do it all the time. I'm going to take the passenger seat out just in case.
Rook - I don't understand your meaning, "5 will get you 10"? I know 15 will get you 20! Something I never had to worry about till recently hahaha
Audioboyz - Hell yeah man! You could just put a turbo on it though? lol Also, I prolly make less money then most people here, I just have no liabilities haha
Mebgardner - Thanks man!

Can't have a turbo ole lady would kill me.Besides I'm not a tuner and would hate to see 6 grand up in smoke.I would like a nice Black ZX-14r with a Acrovatic 4-2-1 pipe, flashed,PCV and tuned by Ivan.Hard enough to sneak all this past her.Last night she knew I payed my cards off and owe 5 grand on my car.She asked me why I'm always looking at my credit score and if I'm buying a new Mustang.I said heck no nothing wrong with this one then didn't say another word.Might be looking for a new girlfriend.Sneaky bastard.

There would be absolutely nothing wrong with riding for the "break in". "Break in" really is a misnomer anyway. It is simply a time where there needs to be sufficient heat and cylinder pressure to seat the rings. You simply don't want to overheat the engine, run it for prolonged periods at a single rpm, or "lug" the engine. For what it's worth, there is no way that anyone would be able to tell if an engine had been "broken in" by the book/manual, or simply ridden and not abused.

Well here in GA I feel like I got an awesome deal. I did pay cash for my 14r which Im sure helped . I got mine for 14.500 OTD includes tax tag title plus extra year good times roll warranty. It was worth it for sure.

Yep, you got a great deal, welcome to the club!
Blueman does have a point though, you will lose most or all of that deal since you're financing it. You'd be suprised how much the interest adds up over 4-5 years.
Go out and enjoy, ease into it, these things are beasts that will bite you hard if you're not careful.

Romney cycles just let a metallic sparkle black one go for 12,495 OTD!
What is your definition of OTD? Are you including tax, freight, prep, DMV, doc, and tire fees? You didn't pay any other taxes or fees? I find that everyone's definition of "OTD" differs. $12,495 sounds awfully low for an “OTD” price. What is the bottom line number on your sales invoice?

Ok so here is the scoop I know that dead cost on 14r is 12,794 but there is holdback (dont know how much). Holdback is a set amount of money the manufacturer pays the dealer when he sells the bike. I would its approx 800 bucks. but dont know for sure. Most dealers are not allowed to give up any of the holdback unless the owner approves it.
OTD is price of vehicle tax tag title and all the other bs fees. However you can go out of state and buy these around cost give or take a few bucks, but you will still have to pay tax tag and title when you register it in your home state. You should include that in your OTD price.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay, been super busy with school and work. Anywho, went to Romney in my Honda Oddessy, and we stuffed that bitch in there like a dead prostitute. Not that I've done that ;) They had a lift getting it in, but my friend and I are all sorts of juiced up so we bascially just carried it out the back.. Not that it was easy, it wasn't.
Went there and back in one trip, and only used about 110 bucks worth of gas there and back. From Columbus, OH, to Romney, WV, which is suuuuuper far into WV if you didn't know. Go to Romney Motorsports, they WILL take care of YOU!!!
I'll post pics in a few days, it looks sharp as hell. The first thing you notice while riding it is that it's the most powerfull bike in the world LMAO But seriously it rides great in town, and ever better when you get on it. It 1!!! Mile on the odo when I got it, which makes me happy, now theres 55 on it.
LimeyHooligan: I'm only financing part of it, and who in there right fucking mind would pay interest for 5 years on a $7000!!! That's retarded haha
I understand, let me clarify. The bike left the dealership, in my possesion for $12,495 USD. Not a penny more. Tax and tag were like $1000 roughly, but yeah, I think I got a pretty spankin deal..
12495 OTD
13500 ON THE ROAD
Better? haha

Phatkaw, I bought my zX14 from Romney and agree they are great to work with. I am waiting for the pricing on the 2013 which they said would be available for order in October. I have a 2010 red ZX14 and really prefer the new red color over the 2012 colors.
My question to you is which sales person did you work with? Just curious as the one that sold me my bike retired.
On a side note when I attended the Motorcycle show in DC last year, Kawasaki was giving out a $250 factory discount coupon that could be applied to your best deal on a motorcycle purchase. On the premise that they will be doing that again this year I may wait for the DC show.
Or does anyone know how to get one of those coupons without going to a show? ... In case I just can't wait that long...
