Yes, very smart to change all 3 as a set like tires as a set, as spark plugs as a set. The aftermarket might sell aluminum rear sprockets not steel. Smarter to use OEM as the replacements. Ron Ayers website has the cheapest OEM prices. Was sent a battery and finally got around to wet it, but the case was cracked thru shipping. Threw it all the packaging away so couldn't claim it on UPS. Ayers with no excuses sent a new battery to me no charge. Had about $1000 in parts and all came.

Stay stock since you are not changing ratios. Buy spare plugs and spare air/oil filters.

Actually, Vortex is the one I'd most recommend if you're interested in weightloss. I have used three different rear sprockets in aluminum and Vortex was the lightest. And I might add, all my aluminum rear sprockets had +4 teeth. They were noticeably larger in appearance. My 08 ran at about 500 rpm higher to do speeds the same speeds it did with stock sprocker gearing. Any aluminum sprocket will wear out faster than steel but mine lasted a few years. The steel front was ready to change after two aluminum rear sprockets were used up. Always use a steel front sprocket. I imagine an aluminum front would wear out very soon and it's not so much of a weightloss anyway.

...but any aftermarket steel front sprocket you buy will be lighter than the stock front sprocket.
