They can say that with a straight face
they not only will say it with a straight face they will try to convince you too.
they don't fool me I tell them we need to go for a ride then race . had 1 last week tell me my bike wasn't a street bike cause my chain guard didn't stick out pass my rear sprocket. this was coming the same guy that had his streetbike pushed back after every pass.
I was going racing Saturday but all races was canceled

Ha ha ha... Damn now that's a first on me. It sounds like the game is the same everywhere. They are all wanting a dead race and are scared to death of something that just might have a chance to beat them.

Hold them up long enough for their grudge motor to overheat while your dicking around in the other lane
I done 1 better get all the staging lights on then back out leaving 3 lights . you know what happens when you do that. I do.

New 2013 645 miles, showroom stock, KTRC on 1 and power on FULL, first pass was on a slick track , just rode it out to look at the track. Second pass , I ran my best ever,
10:47 at 140.78.
next pass was 10:404 at 143.78
third was final in eliminations 10.296 at 145.56
I think I am gonna like this bike :)
Reaction times , 60 foot and 330 s were all very very close to same numbers.. I have a bit of learning curve ahead but plan on pretty much showroom except lowering rear..
ALL suggestions are welcome , keeping in mind that lowering is probably the only modification. I am 135# ready to ride

Was doing 68-7000 with a 16/47 combo...been having traction issues lately at my 2 regular tracks since I got the bike put back together...been slowly dropping my launch rpm to see if it would help...so far since I've only been able to hit 1.45s and running nearly a tenth and 2-3 mph slower...but the air has been complete shit as of late. Anywhere from 3000-4000+ da. My best runs were done at around 1000-1200 da, which is about as awesome as it gets around here.

Broke all My records tonight except mph, track wasn't the greatest, but I was getting quicker every pass! I got a seat pan and it made a world of difference for me. Stock motor, stock clutch, stock shock, stock shifter. I seriously can't believe it almost went in the 1.20's in the 60'! Crazy!!

The time to beat on what KHI supplies from the factory is still 8.43 @ 164.9mph.
I had no idea Lee went 8.43 with stock gearing at stock wheelbase with stock exhaust! Wow that's nuts! (end sarcasm)
Hag this is a list thread where other racers can talk shop a bit. Your knowledge base on this subject is non-existent so please don't start anything here.

I"m still geared -1+2. Yeah, Lee is damn fast, but he also had BST's, ceramic bearings, and goodies. I'm really wondering if he was spraying. That kind of mph doesn't match up without it. i've been about the same mph he has been on my buddys 1441 busa that made 20 more horse than my bike does. Who knows.

Lee was straight skeleton mode while going that MPH. Look at Teasley's mph at stock wheelbase. Those ceramic bearings and BST wheels are reducing that back half ET bud. Look at your 1/8. If you were back halving 3.01 like Lee and Teasley you'd already be there.
