T-rex racing has afforably priced front and rear stands picked up a pair for $160 shipped. Got the triple tree stand for the front seen too many bikes topple off fork stands. Also fits my R6 too so if you have multiple bikes get the correspoding pins so you can use them all of them.

I would check out Cycle Gear. They have the front and rear stands for 1/2 price. I purchased the rear stand for $44.99. Works great!

I have a question for SILVER 14 and/or anyone else. I was going to purchase the PITBULL front stand that lifts the 14 via the triple tree but was told by several including the PITBULL COMPANY that there might be and issue with the stand rubbing the underside of the fairing when sliding the lift into place to lift the 14. So i didn't buy it. Are there any issues with your T-REX stand coming in contact with the body? If there aren't any issues a part# for the front stand and pin # you are using would be appreciated. One last question. Is your 14 stock factory height or has it been lowered? My 14 front end is the factory height. Thanks

Thx for the responses.. I think I'm gonna try black lightings idea. My concern is getting the bike on and off the stand without difficulty.

Scootn, My 14 is lowered 1/2" in the front and stock in the rear. The front triple tree stand will contact the front fender if not careful. I usually just put a 2x4 and a small jack under the exhaust and lift it a few inches goes in no problem. at stock height I had no problems on the front. Don't have any part #'s I've had the stands 2 years now. You just tell them what bike you have and they send you the correct pin.

Scootn, I have the Pitbull forklift stand with forklift converter. You DO need to roll the stand in there sorta sideways/crooked but after 9-10 lifts, it goes pretty quick. The lift bar with pin for steering stem has a rubber scuff proof sleave so it wont damage your fender. I used to put a towel over the fender to make sure cuz if the unprotected part of the bar hits, it could leave a mar. Only other thing you need do is put your thumb over the top of the lift pin while you find the stem hole. That will prevent any scuffs on the upper inner fairing...not that anyone would ever see it if it got scuffed but like you, i hate to abuse stuff whether it will be seen or not.

Also have the PitBull Newfront stand and it works same. but you can't lift under the forks so it is less versatile.

I'm using the T-Rex stands for both the R6 and ZX14. Rear stand has adjustable width, no issues.

scottjkyl I got a pair of those stands and couldnt get the front stand under the bike without jacking up the bike first. I had them send me the Kit so I could use the front stand without jacking.

If any of you want any Pit Bull products, to include the front and/or rear stands, I can get you free shipping direct from Pit Bull. I am sponsored by them in WERA and CCS.

Email me at jeffarmy34 at yahoo dot com and I'll provide you the info that you need to get the free shipping. Others on this board have contacted me, purchased the Pit Bull stands, and were happy. I have the rear spooled stand and both the front "under the forks stand" and the front "under the steering stem" stands. My stands work very well and the bike is very stable when on the stands. I like Pit Bull products.

I know you already order stands Nitti, but for anyone else considering stands I went with the center/pivot stand from Redline Engineering (Heindl Engineering also makes a comparable model). Takes a little getting used to getting the bike up like most stands, but does the job for wheel removal, chain cleaning, etc pretty well.

^^^^Have the Heindl engineering swingarm pivot stand and have loved it from the start. Not as sturdy as a PitBull but plenty strong enough. The Heindle is the safest thing I can imagine using and also the easiest lift cus the swingarm pivot is pretty near the center in terms of weight distribution front/back. Great stand if you never lifted a bike before and are worried about doing it alone.

I have a Vortex rear spool pick-up jack and a Vortex triple tree pin jack. The latter takes 3men and a boy to make work so for the most part I use a light aluminum Lockhart that lifts at the base of the shocks. ScottJKYL thanks for the link to the portable travel chain maintenance jack. Slick as snot. I think I will pick one up!

Hey Nitti, turn the top plates over , they lift on those spools on your swingarm. Much more stable.
