It seems this site tends to get a lot of attention from spammers or one of them rides ZX14?? or do they think ZX riders are stupid so that they can get money or personal info out of us? I go to a couple of other forums - Bay Area Riders Forum and Prius Chat - and I have never seen any spam attacks there. Just curious. Now I spell out other forum names. They may get attacked by spammers

I suspect part of the problem here is that there isn't any anti-bot things (like Captcha) for the creation of accounts, I'm actually surprised we don't have a constant onslaught of this kind of garbage. Other things like rules limiting the number of new threads and messages that a new user can do would also help. There's quite a few other security functions that can be implemented to weed them out.

I think Bg can benefit from having other co-mods helping delete spam when he is not around. This is a one-man show, so I completely understand.

Seems yet another Spam attack. Mod needs to come up with a rule that newly registered can't post for 4 weeks or something.
