I have a basket handle for the 2012 14R(handle for riding two up). Comes with Green center plastic and installation hardware. Was on the bike from Kawi. Bike was shown with a touring theme in mind. No idea what it's worth ??????

That's the first full view I've had of the alternative plastic center tailpiece. The SW-Motech rear rack comes with instructions to fit this piece to make the rack work. I ended up cutting mine in two pieces and making an extra rubber mount for the back half.

The plastic piece alone sells for $30, which is why I decided to adapt what I had. They didn't stock one in CPB anyway, so I would have had to buy paint too.

I hear that. I lucked out and didn't screw mine up. The Motech rack allowed me to use both pieces, which I don't think you could do with the grab handle. The handle itself probably brings a pretty penny since it's mostly a euro-market piece.

Just found it, it was 235 Dollars Plus 13% tax. All part of the deal.

I am looking to get the Kawasaki stock part to fit the 14r but that price is off the charts in being reasonable...way way too much money for a piece of plastic or aluminum to put one hand on while riding.....

Agreed, but that is what was on the bill of sale from Kawi. Also this piece is not aluminium. It is Extremely solid that is for sure and fits perfectly. Took less than 4 min to remove. Kwai does nothing cheap in the accessories dept.

I don't know if it's cast alloy or steel, but any grab handle has to be pretty substantial. Normally, any used part is worth at least 50% of the new price if the part is undamaged. Just like their $200 optional centerstand, anything made in small numbers is going to be pricier than a more common part.

With out doubt a New Grab handle will make her nice and comfy, will also make her believe lol. Hundred off sound fair ? I know it is used, but it's only 10 min old. Cheers.

We got grab handles but didn't get passenger seat covers. I don't think they even fit if you have a grab handle.
Idd rather have had seat cover. Wife doesn't use the handle. She just strangle holds me between her thighs. I think she is packing more hp than my bike.
