New member from South Carolina here. I have been lurking for a few weeks while I was trying to learn as much as possible about the ZX-14 before purchasing one. I have certainly learned a lot from the members on here. I am new to the sport bike world but have been riding quite a while. I currently ride a chopper so to say the 14 is new territory for me is the understatement of the year. I expect to have my 14 in the next week or two; I'm just trying to decide on color and get the best deal. Thanks in advance for all the info.

Thanks for the welcome guys. last night I made a deal on an Midnight Blue '08. Its all stock except for Two Bros slip ons. I will probably be adding different pipes once I am out and about enough to learn which ones I like the best. I am learning a good bit fomr this site about what mods I want to make. I am pretty sure I will be adding bar risers and a peg lowering kit since I am 6'5".

Black, where did you go to school? the roads around here are awesome for motorcycles. In a day ride I can ride all over northwest SC, the TN mountains and western NC. Deal's Gap is only a couple of hours away as well.
