lemme know what you found out. When I was trying to decide I kept getting vague answers like Tommy's so I just decided on the PCV because of the sheer number of people using DJ. If it were me I'd rather stay away from DJ, they always made the crappiest Jet Kits when I was doing carbs. I would go with Factory Pro, but they don't make controllers. sigh.

I just decided on the PCV because of the sheer number of people using DJ.

JM<HO but that is a good reason to buy something if you are not sure what you want/need.

I own a Bazzaz for my busa and the only reason I went with it is that it is capable of tuning for 8 injectors which is Suz's setup. PC is good for 4 injectors and that covers a Kaw 100%.

MOst tuners are only familiar with tuning with DJ products. Bazazz might be more limited especially if you do not own a machine that has a Bazzaz following like the busa crowd. ----and half or more of them even go with the PC because it is a more common item.

Whish I had mine Bazzaz installed in the busa so I could tell you more about the difs but for now, I can say I feel very secure about my PCV purchase for the 14 rather going to Bazzaz. The PCV has worked flawlessly and There are abundant maps out there if you are into trying new ones. IDK how easy it is to come by a Bazzaz map for a zx-14.

To tell you the truth, i would estimate that almost none of us are going to get into tuning enough to ever notice the dif between a Bazzaz and a PC. It's nice to be prepared if you do. I haven't done a thing but accept Auto tune trims on mine. There is so much stuff you can do if you want to take the time.

I have the same setup for my busa as Tommy. Bazzaz ZAFM and ZFI. That is Bazzaz' tuning module and self tuner.

I feel that there is so much mechanical crap to get mystified with on a bike that you might as well go with the crowd on the electronics where the mystery is likely to get so deep you will never get through it all. It's just easier to follow the flock and do as they do without asking questions. I have faith that the questions have been asked by those who know much more than I do. I am sure the Bazzaz will be a great tuning system as well but I don't wan't to have questions come up that have not already been answered.

thanks for the replies will probably go with pc5 with autotune had it on my m109r ran great afterwards just heard bazzaz was supposed to be the better system for a sportbike with more tuning capabilities.

bazzaz has the ability to do traction control. a buddy has it on his 600rr, and once the tuning of the traction control was done it works great!

........Just when he had his mind made up!

Hey silver, I would ask at Bikeland to get a few more opinions. I usually do that with technical questions.

http://www.bikeland.org/board/forumdisplay.php?FID=27

You have to do your homework on this stuff because once it is in, you don't want to feel you need to upgrade.
