That is sad. It looks like he lost his life by a matter of inches. You see so many accidents like that end up just being a close call.

Sorry to see that...does it look to you guys like the sled landed on him?It doesn't to me....close...but he seemed to be behind it when it pancaked.Anyone find out what his injuries were?Looks like a broken back w/complications.

No, to his credit he walked off. His heart was bleeding, the nose of the sled came down square on his head. Also brain complications. That video not the best view.

"Moore stayed down for quite some time, before walking off with help and going to a hospital to treat a concussion. Moore developed bleeding around his heart and was flown to a hospital in Grand Junction for surgery. The family later said that Moore, of Krum, Texas, also had a complication involving his brain.
Colten Moore was injured in a separate crash that same night. He suffered a separated pelvis in the spill."
