Hmmm Powerbronze
07/03/10 4:29 PM

Hi guys just to let everyone know I recently purchased two parts from powerbronze Uk it was the carbon fibre yoke protector and the carbon heal gaurds. Now in all honesty I'm not very happy with the final product at all I will post some pics when I get home from work. But the problem with the parts is the fit up of the yoke protector and the general lack of care that seems to to have been taken with the edges and backs of the heel gaurds with resign runs and dags not taken off. Now we as riders and buyers of this stuff need to convey our dissaproval with these manufactures who charge an absolute fortune for this stuff over promise and dont deliver. I have sent repeated emails and have also tried to call leaving several messages with the Australian supplier but have nothing in return......... Pricks the lot of them thats why I'm thinking about trying my hand at my own carbon work !!!!!!

Now i have had my bitch and rant so I feel much better thanks and cheers
Benny

I bought the yoke protector as well.It fit fine...good looking. You did bend the parts at the cut lines didn't you?You have to bend those PAST(somewhat, not extremely)the angle of the yolk the part is going to stick on(so it will be without reverse pressure once you stick it on there). Now I will say....the windscreens DO NOT FIT.Enough said on that.

Yep fully bent it and the carbon looks good but the actual cut outs as in size and dimension wise needs some work

Hey Benny,

I too have been subjected to their underwhelming products and service. I bought the pair of inlet vent covers. THey don't fit properly, the clear coat had run marks.

The local Aus importer basically told me to suck it up, that's the way they all are. So, never again.
I had to pay to have the crap finish polished up so they look acceptable. There is still a gap near the gauge cluster and they rub the paintwork near the tank..

Never again

I buy Bestem now whenever I need CF.Fitment USUALLY needs a tad bit of "adjustment",sanding or expanding a hole, but the quality to me is very good...not perfect, but very good. The little things I see,no one else would ever notice.I'm very happy with Bestem.

Yeah the Distributer here in Aussie is a real toss pot when I spoke to him he never stopped slagging off all other carbon fibre especially GCC who I have all of my other carbon from..... When I told him about the dissapoinment of his gear he just basically gave the run around and a bit of to bad to sad story
