my riding isn't good enough for documentary in its purest form.
Even if it was, the riding you would need to do would get you on the 6 O clock news so no need to record, journalists will do that for you lol
So far, I've used r2 (on a rainy cloudy day, lots of humidity on the lens), and r4 today (on a sunny bright day, resulting in lens flare all over the video).
It's not just the GoPro, the technology isn't quite there yet! The videos the show you at the GOPro kiosks are heavily edited so like Rook mentioned mcing is going to make us learn how to film. The problem is that I haven't got the time nor the desire. I have photoshop for my Nikon D5000 but make sure I get a good shot which will need only minimal editing so I don't see myself working on short film.
Just like with photography, you're going to have the best results when you're filming in an overcast environment with no/low humidity.
