I have now tried 5 diff types of Rotors. 4 sets of stock ones. Full Floating Brembos on bike now,,,, Hate Them, they are coming off. Grrrrr will take a pic later.

Moto mummy had Braking SK Directional s for wicked price. I'm going Back. Tried hard to find better. Make sense to stick with what works.

Just thought I'd throw in my 2c. When I had my 07 ZX14 I started to get pulsing on my front brakes, very early (like 4500 kms). When I went to the dealer, I was told that I was probably not braking "hard enough", causing pad material to be left behind on the rotor. Fair enough probably, because I usually used the engine braking in most cases, and only used the brakes lightly. I was given a new pair of C14 rotors to try. The design was a little different, and I was told the compound was slightly different too. It solved the problem, but I didn't like the shape of them. I bought another pair of ZX14 rotors, and tried to brake harder than I usually did. The problem never returned.

Look ahead, relax & GO HARD!

Vesrah don't need bed in and IMO they are way better than EBC. I did a track day a few weeks back with new EBC pads and stock calipers. The braking was awesome but I think there is too much drag on the rotors. I could smell the pads get too hot. It's possible that the 6mm, Super Bike spec Braketech Axis were at fault but I think the Vesrah are way better. As far as rotors are concerned, the 14 is a heavy bike so even if you don't brake like Tom Sykes, you still need stronger rotors IMO.

Stronger rotors but same proven design!
