I want to see those dyno charts with the Tsukigi spanking all Brock's pipes.

I really wonder why none of the zx14s that race in the 1/4 and LSR events run Tsukigi exhausts...

It is a good quality pipe but also keep in mind that Ivan Serb got more power out of Yoshi and Akra
than Tsukigi- now those charts are on his website and the guy is recognized as a tuning genius... and
a good friend of Hub's

I'm going with what I was reading on hayabusa.org a couple months ago. They tested the Cannon against a Brock's short meg but no A-head was available to test. The pipes were on busas. The test wasn't perfect and it was not even on the same bike we own but the results seemed to indicate that the Cannon should at least be competative with a shortmeg or A-head for peak hp. They have dyno sheets posted for the busas they tested.

I agree with you on the "look at who's winning races logic." You can look at dyno charts and peak hp all day but that's not the same as putting the equipment to the test. I still think the Cannon is a great choice whether it will make your 14 faster than an A-head or not. The Cannon makes very good hp and big db numbers, that's for sure! I have an appreciation for that.

BTW, Stan, thanks for the info in PM.

MassZX14 I'll go look for those dyno graphs. I seen them on ZX14.net and that's Greg Williams site. He is very well known in the ZX14 world and has many big accomplishments. He is the one who recommended the Tsukigi over Brocks. When I find those #'s I'll post them.

Thats absolute crap. The brock alein head gives hp away to no pipe across the rev range its the best system we have dyno'ed bike to bike of any pipe we offer. When i map a bike its run on the street with a sniffer logging data to get real world spec's to fine tune after we have pulled them on the dyno! The hp on paper are close on about four ex systems where it means nothing, but at the track the brocks systems are 2nd to none. Take a look at whats on your top street/strip bikes, and our bracket bikes have had the same consistency. I have nothing against any other system and its all in what you prefer''there's some good ex,on the market today we have installed them all i think, but brocks is what i run on my personal bikes[14's] and its not because of the looks, but their performance and customer service is the goal all others should strive for .....................Bill

Well Bill you can say thats crap but I know what I saw and the 14 with the Cannon made 184 and the same bike with the Alien head made 179. I'm still looking for the link so you can see it for yourself! It really doesn't matter to much honestly the are both so close, but anyways....

One more thing Bill read the link that Rook posted and you will see that the Cannon made more than Brocks yet again. But you are right on the bike that are racing they are all Brocks exhausts. Maybe we know something they don't. LOL

I just looked over the whole busa.org thread and it looks like they removed the video and the dyno charts. Sorry. From what I can remember the Cannon made 7 hp more than a smeg on the busas tested. They couldn't compare to A-head because there was not one available (they say, sounds a little fishy to me).

Close is good enough for me to not pick based on performance. I'm not going to start worrying about 2/100th in thr 1/4 mile unless I'm good enough to improve my time by that small of an amount. Just have to concern myself with looks and sound map support maybe - take performance out of the equation and it's still a hard choice.

I am going to miss the duals look, too.

I already have the PC5 sitting in my cupboard. Autotune as well. ~$512 for both from Fuel Moto USA. I went with the PC because that seemed to be what most 14 owners were going with. There are also a lot of cool add ons for the PC (like Autotune). I didn't do much research on the Bazazz. My decision was mainly PCIII or PCV. I think there is a topic in Performance Upgrades about the differences between these two units(I think I posted it-lol). If not, post one and I will post the info I have filed on PCIII vs PCV. There is not a huge dif in price or performance.

The Bazzaz is used pretty much for busas because it has the ability to tune for 8 injectors. You'd need 2 PCs hooked up to do that on a busa. We don't have to worry about it because we only have 4 injectors anyway. All I know is the bazazz will cost you more. I believe the PC is the industry standard for engine tuners so maps and tuning should be more accessible with a PC. I don't see why a Bazzaz wouldn't be an excellent choice if you have a trusted tuner recommend it. There are plenty of them running in busas and that is what I will probably get when/if i buy my busa.

Rook I agree they are both great products the only reason I went with the Bazzaz was because it has the ability to hold 2 tunes at once. So when I put the bottle on the bike I can just flip a switch and go. Bazzaz also offers a auto tune unit and from what I've been told from other people it really works well. I was told he added the auto tune and went from 9.40's to a 9.20 right off the trailer. Thats awesome!!! Can the PCV hold more than one tune?

The PCV can hold 2 maps but you need to buy a switch and bar bracket or fab up your own switch to change between maps. There is an add-on for the PCIII (the multi function hub, I believe it is called) that will allow you to hold multiple maps but I don't remember how many. I think it was 3. If you buy the liquid crystal display unit for the PCV or the PCIII, you can hold and switch between several maps.

So, Gawn, you're planning on going with nitrus, are you? I'm curious about that kind of set up too. Not any time soon but maybe next year.

I haven't gotten dynoed yet because when I got everything installed I had a vasectomy the next day and the dr told me I couldn't ride for atleast a week. So my fiancee said since you cant ride lets take it to get the paint done like we have been talking about. And I was like "HELL YEAH" so I put an ice pack on the boys lol and rode it to the paint shop. Let me tell that bike is now STUPID FAST!!! it pulls so damn hard now! I was very impressed! I will definately post up dyno numbers and picks as soon as I get it back. And thanks for the props!!! ;)
