Hey all! My name is Dave. Long time rider but new to the ZX14 this last year. Pick up an 06 last year second hand from the original owner, only had 6k. Paid less than a buck a mile for her. I traded up from a 92 ZX11. New tires Corbin seat and bar rizers before taking her for a 1200mile grin around the northwest Washington and Oregon. What an awesome bike, makes my 11 seem like a dinasour. Took the carbs from my old 11 down to Nel's for a rebuild and ran into Cblast, Sabastian? while I was there. Awesome people, so guess I will be lookin at getting a Cblast flash for my 14 pretty soon.
Lookin forward to ridin this summer and seein what all is up with you!

So I caved and let Nels @2wheeldynoworks.com talk me into a set of Yosh TRC slip-ons and a Cblast flash. Thank you Nels and Sebastian/Cblast for waking the beast! All I can say is OMFG the beast has been awakened. Everything about the bike is better. I had know idea there was that much more to this bike! Who needs front tires if they are always in the air? Oh yeah I guess you do have to stop once in a while. The improved throttle control and ride-ability is incredible. Gonna throw my 2 cents onto the Cblast post in the performance section too!

Thanks for the awesome welcome. We have a lot of really beautiful roads to ride on around the PNW. Thinking about catching the Mukilteo to Clinton ferry and riding up Whidbey island and come back via Deception pass. Weather is supposed to be perfect. My wife will be riding my 92 ZX-11 that I just got back together. Nels 2wheeldynoworks rebuilt the carbs for me. Our neighbor and his wife will be joining us on his Triumph 1050 Sprint.
