Hello Friends

I'm hoping to meet some fellow zx14 riders that can give me some good advice on upgrades and exhaust options.

Welcome! I have the M4 Retro Drag slip ons and love them. I have also had the Coffman shorties and Yoshimura R77's.

Howdy..I have the Yosh R77 system and it has a nice tone and is neighbor friendly..Not much increase in paower tho over stock Gen 2.. Biggest help was losing the weight of the stock cans..

I just install the Delkevic 17'' stainless ... They are real quiet (a must for me) and easy to install and pretty inexpensive... There is a bunch out there to choose from... You won't have any trouble finding stuff to select from...

Good Luck...

The most notable change I've made is going with the full exhaust and that is mostly for the weightloss. +4 teeth on the back sprocket makes a nice change. Lightweight wheels are noticeable at speed. I really don't think anything else I've done impacts my riding at my skill level which I'd say is pretty much higher than most other riders up North here where I live. I doubt many of us have the skill to make real use of any mods but it's intriguing and it does make the bike feel different. That's why I do it.

One thing you should try for an extra $60 when you get the tires changed is a 190/60 or 200/55 profile rear tire. That too can help if you are really seriously practicing your sport riding. Invest in high quality race oriented tires and those will pay dividends pretty soon. Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa is great and Diablo Pros are the total shites. Expensive and won't last long but oh so worth the extra $$ if you like to lean hard. Still have to practice but the feel is there and I really can't say that about most other mods that the average rider might do.

Brocks is the total package. I have one and its literally plug and play and comes with a custom map. Plus you know you are the fastest if you install a Brocks!
