Bestem Heel Guards
04/30/13 8:23 PM

I installed some new Bestem carbon fiber heel guards today and I gotta say the quality of the product is super nice and the lines flow great with the bike. Now for the negative comments, I was not pleased to have to drill the holes larger for the stock bolts to fit through. I had to increase the hole size about 50%. Other than that little issue I think they look great on the bike!

They do look good! Are they strong? or bending in easy? Irritating when you have to modify a product, but ok if it turns out in the end. Imagine if it cracked while drilling it or something....
Nice bike btw,

Yeah I was quite concerned that they might shatter while I was drilling them out. They have some flex to them but you'd have to do something dumb to break one.

Just use a sharp knife and rotate the tip of the blade inside the hole... works like a charm

I hate it when the parts you order, just don't fit without drilling...sacrilege
