Hi,
I am replacing my Healtech V1 Gear indicator with a V2 as the V1 Died. The old one had it's power source connected directly to the battery the new one needs a ignition switched 12v source. I am trying to tear the bike apart and was hoping someone can suggest a tap in point on the left side of the bike. Does anyone know if the connector directly above the coolant reservoir fills that need? Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

(2012+) Up front, under left cover. Switched Hot lead going to the horn button.
You can tap in there.

The Zx14r has a switched hot lead on the left side. It is listed in the manual. It is under a cover, covering several connectors
