What's up zx14 and zx14r brothers,I've been out of circulation for awhile due to unforseeing personal problems.Now i'm back in with gasoline draws on(lol).I haven't made the move on getting the 14r yet,but still have "Elvira" gen1 06 zx14.Really want to know are their any new technology for me to dress her up with.Still has the old bolt-ons(pc3,bmc air filter,muzzy full race pipe,Ivan's pair block-off,thinner head gasket and bells and whistle head job).Been hearing allot about Romans,Cblast,Schnitz,Brock-Ghul FLASHES.Will it be cool to run a pc3 along with ecu flash or just trash pc3 and just run the flash ecu? Sorry in advance if old topic!!!!! Trying to proove gen1 still got it before I flip to gen2.

Mack sounds like you running a bit more compression and a custom tune now ? If not, a custom tune may be money better spent. I would Not take a Generic over the counter flash compared to your current set up.

Gains you are missing in the flash for your bike are, the removal of you top speed limiter and the added timing.

Mack allot more shops are flashing ECU's on the Dyno. If you can find one in your area that will give the full custom ECU flash for a reasonable price might be something to look into. Is it worth it ????? My thinking is save your money. Others may feel differently. Hope this helps.

Roam,I really wish you were close by man.Been getting allot haters riding gen2 busa and 14rs.Went to bike night last Weds.night and ran into a couple of losers that i tooked the crown from.I really think these guys are still tender from the last ass whooping i put on them before leaving town.They all upgraded to newer bikes and thinks that this will solve their problem with me.They don't have the drag racing skills i have or the recipe Elvira has.Two busa and one smack brand new zx14r with no riders.Well Elvira has went through a major tune up and is up to the the task this SAT. night.Trying to gauge where I'm at as far as technology.If need be,I'll get the ecu flashed after this race.Got a good tuner,but he's just getting started with the flashing bikes.Doesn't have the confidence yet,but willing to work out the kinks for me.Man,wish you could be there to watch me handle my business with those slugs.Roam,I'll buy you a case of beer just for being there.Time to kick the tires and light the fires.They can't touch this!!!!!!

Well it's on for Sat. night.Mr.14r had the nerve to drop by house with a official invitation.Never lost my cool,but kinda hit a wild hair in my azz.Ready though,he's was really trying to find what he can about Elvira,not happening.Well I'll keep u guys posted on the results ASAP.Off to the races!!! Hey 14 nation we have a winner and the winner is Mack14!!!!Three different races with best two out three guidelines.2012 Busa was first to fall and felled hard.So we stood around awhile talking crap back and forth until the other Busa stepped up and got his throat cut too.His bike was a 2013.So far so good,2 and 0.Then Mr.14r showed up late trying to make a grand entrance.All for naught!!!!!This guy called me out and showed up a hour and a half late.He got off his bike talking straight noise for another 45 minutes.So I told this punk,"be careful what you ask for and let's race".Once I saw he had the racer leg,I knew I had'em .This was best challenge I had all night.Don't get it wrong,that 14r is a monster if it had the right jockey on it.Never got within 4 or 5 bikes of Elvira.Still got the crown and left them with freshly soar asses.They were really sad when I counted their bill money in front of them. PS: Roman,got two cases of beer for ya homie.

Well done, when your fast and you know it the average rider leads with his wallet. It happens and it hurts. My buddy on his ZX12 kicks my ass on regular basis. I hate it and he knows it, but that's just life. Have not run him on my new bike yetttttt,,,,, soooon me hopes lol All in good fun of course.

Thanx Smatlock42 and Romans,It was a good night for the old school gen.1.Elvira performed like allot like a gen.2.I got the recipe from Slowninja around 2008 and 2009 and man has it worked.My brother(Skip),proven Kaw builder(Willie Hagan)and me put this monster together over barbeque and budlight.Now we are about to put it back on the dyno to see what horsepower we have.Last time we we dynoed her she pushed out 197hp off air.Willie Hagan said he probaly could get a few more ponies out her,we'll see.Still gonna get the gen.2 later this year,but keep Elvira around for those special race nights.It's gonna take allot of doe to get the gen.2 up to my racing standards,but it's worth every penny and a few dead presidents.

Mack I followed SlowNinja's lead to a T as well with my 2007 zx 14. Things were more about the bikes and what they could do back then. Do you know what happen to him ??? Last thing I heard he went Big bore but it ran to hot and was selling the bike,,,, Then got side swiped by a car before it could happen(ugh). Sure would be nice to see him back. always provided Great back it up videos too. We never did get to see the Race between Slow and onebad,,, To bad. 8 second grudge matches hard to find.

No,I don't know what happen to my friend.Me and slow did allot of posts putting together a recipe for gen.1.I stepped away from the forum for awhile.Where ever he is,we need to get him back.This man had the insight on the gen.1 and pretty sure he has it on the gen.2.This is a MUST for our forum.He backed up everything he stated with dynoes,track slips and was happy to give the recipe for it.Wow,what a true champion,ok let's find him.
