Okay...some of ya know...I bought a new exhaust for my bike.Titanium single....CT.Also...had my ECU flashed by Guhl a few weeks ago.Got all the stuff today...PCV...Brock's street map.Everything went together really well.No install problems at all.PCV hooked in great.Pipes...fit excellent and fit right up.

I just got back from a ride....you know...see how she's doing sort of thing.

I don't know what to say exactly.

I'm gonna be frank.I've NEVER ridden a vehicle that was so wild in all my life.I'm dead serious here.This 'thing' went from a powerful yet 'mild mannered' sweet ride...to a friggin monster!!!!

I weighed her at the scales...half tank of fuel.....500 lbs on the nose.I really am kinda in shock.I don't know where to actually start explaining the performance 'blast' my baby got today...I couldn't ride too long...it was gettin colder out,and the Sun was goin down...didn't want to nail a Deer after gettin my bike buttoned up and all.

Really...all I can say right now is... I have to let this 'new' bike sink in some.When Brock says"Stupid Fast"....he knows what he's talking about.This thing is so quick and strong now....through all the gears and all rpm ranges,downshifting...powering out..I have to say...the behavior of my bike now is..well...I'll just say...at 1500 rpm in 1st,I nailed her.Got a bit of lift...came back down...gassed her again...held it this time...for a short few seconds anyway....FUC$$...she lofted so friggin fast it was like...OMG...wtf????Scary fast.Honestly.Feels like the bike weighs about 300 lbs.Takes off in any gear like for passing or whatever...like a missile.I'm done now....gotta think about this for a while..calm down...have some coffee...a smoke.Yeah....I had NO idea what the potential of this bike could be.NONE.I don't know WHAT to expect on my next ride...powering up from a fast strong launch.This baby is it for me....I can't see EVER getting another bike...EVER......FUC#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow Grn! Had been wavering on getting another bike right now and had started looking for a new Camaro SS or Mustang GT to play with, but the more I hear and read, the more I'm swinging back towards the 14R again!!!

i live a double life. Me #1 just focusses on the old gen 1 14. That is my baby and that world is the world i stay in most of the time.

Every now and then Me #2 pokes his head out and looks at the 14r. I fully expected that a full system would just be crazy as hell on this bike. It is such a huge diff on any bike and the 14r is already a mutant freak of motorcycle engineering. Good for you Grn! No more slipons for you ever again, I'll bet.

ok back to the world of Me #1 again. Ahhhhhhh- I love my 14.

Thanks BG..and Rook...and all.Like a different bike.I thought she was a real kicker before...geez...now...I'm gonna have to be CAREFUL where and when I shoot the juice to er.That TC kicks in awfully fast now...Turned it off for a bit yesterday...SHEESH...she was spinnin tires and popping up so fast...it really was incredible.I had no idea a bike could be like this...but she is now!And still....smooth as glass.I'm VERY happy with this deal.VERY.Any feeling of 'heaviness' or any of that...it's gone...totally.The weight reduction alone has sharpened this baby up significantly.The mapping and all has really made this engine sing.I swear...if I didn't know better...I'd think I was on a 900 or something...she's that nimble now and quick.

@Bigwillie...if you can...you should get the 14R...get these mods...I guarantee ya,you'll be VERY happy with this bike.It's nothing now like anything out there....not that I know of anyway.Streetbike I mean.You take a 1000,or an R1..anything like that...now....make it bigger,faster,stronger,quicker...that's what this bike is right now is.Amazing.With these mods...and the Shorai battery,and those things...she dropped over 80 something lbs.Weighed er in at 500 dead on w/half tank of fuel.Now I'm repeating myself...okay...sorry.It really feels like finding a vein of gold or something...it's that exciting.

Glad to know you finally found out the difference between a stock bike with/without slip ons and one with a quality full system. I bet you don't think you 1st generation was that fast after all!

Glad you're loving it... This bike is ridiculously fast, not for the faint of heart!

Sounds good Grn14, glad you are enjoying your new bike - but I doubt your scale was accurate.

Your bike with the Brocks exhaust and a Shorai battery is probably closer 540 pounds with a 1/2 tank of fuel.
