exhaust opinion

Ok gents I am looking for an opinion or perhaps a slap into reality....
I have an idea. I currently have Muzzys carbon slip ons. I love them, the sound, look, weight loss, and performance gain with the PCIII is great. (May get a different map later). My thought is this: I like the duals...so.... Could I buy a 4 into 2 performance header (i.e. Brocks?) and get it custom fitted to the Muzzys, or get a custom fab shop to do the header keeping the Muzzys, or is the thought of doing this retarded or not even worth it. Let the games begin....

I'm with Darryle, if you spend the bucks for a CT-Dual header you are at 80% of the complete set cost. The CT-Dual mufflers are barely 20% of the kit cost.

Might as well buy the whole thing, and get a tuned system with a tuned and proven map from Brock himself.

Not a bad idea, and I agree about getting the whole system. My only issue....and I apologize to those that have them...is that imho those CT cans are fugly as hell. But I like the look of the dual exhaust....its a while off but plenty to contemplate. Thanks for the input.

That is my fave system but i have to agree with you on the asthetics. Super light and best hp on the 14, though. Plain, boring ugly, whatever you want to call it, I could live with it. The shorty mid pipe looks a lot better than the original design. I like the single shorty just fine for looks and the hp is just a tiny bit less than the dual according to the stats that were published when the systems came out.

Get a CT duals ful system and check into a set of Brocks oval can street smart mufflers. ---have a look on hius site he sells a certain muffler all by itself and I believe it was the Gen3 street smart. It is interchangeable with the alienhead header, perhaps it (or some other muffs) would fit the CT dual header/collector .

I'm sure if yiu calkl Brock, he will tell you what will work. You might find you like thos CT mufflers. Maybe have them powdercoated to enhace looks?

Thanks Rook, I'll check that out with Brock. It will be down the road because I have done a few mods already and am actually happy with the results at this point. And the department of War and Finance is done with my spending....lol. Normally I am a function over form type of guy, and don't spend money on something for looks alone...however I really don't like those CT cans....twin cannons like your would look cool...lol. Or like you say different Brocks cans. I will check it out. Thanks.

And to be honest I really like the single shorty AH too. So I may just go that route.
