Thought i would share my experience with the illumigo gauges sold on fleabay...

I had the usa/cdn speedo cluster when i bought my bike and ive been on the hunt for a kmh speedo since. Sadly a speedo is $400+ so it was a little out of my budget. I decided to pull the trigger on a set of illumigo gauges off of ebay. I have to say i am very impressed with the fit and finish... Very nice indeed. Installation was easy too!... Less than 1 hour (including the time to remove and reinstall the cluster).

She glows a nice cool blue and does not blind you while riding. Hopefully they last for a while... Time will tell.

Cant go wrong for 100 bucks

I have a set but have not installed. Came with kph and mph faces + tach face. Glad to hear you like. Just be very careful that the wires can't crack. The liquid will cook your instruments. Never heard this hapenning but there is a warning in the install instructions.

If you can locate the proper LEDs, you can change the color without adding any other aftermarket stuff. At least it seems like you could. They do it on busas so I guess you could on the 14 as long as you can get the instrument cluster opened up.

How was it getting the needles back on properly? I have heard one owner remark that he felt his speedo may not be reading accurately because the needle may have been reinstalled a bit too high or too low.

Hey Rook, no needle removal. They are designed to slip over the needle :)

Thats a nice upgrade for sure. I'm really digging the larger/bolder numbers on the tach.

Ya rook i was thinking the same thing when i was reading the instructions. The needle has the knob on the other end so it doesnt look like it is possible. You have to bend the faceplate like a taco (just not that drastic). The hole slides under the needle (there is about a 1mm gap under the needle). I'll post up a pic when i do Beasts gauge. It will make sense when you see it.

Nice man those are great. I have the same ones, though I ended up taking the needle off since I was scared to bend them too much. Had mine for almost 2 years now and so far so good!

Hell yeah thats why I ended up sending them to somebody that does it for a living, lol but love the look of yours, look nice and bright and easy to see.
