$250 for Micheline PP 2CTs, also. Think I might give that a try. From the description it sounds like a pretty soft tire. How will they be on the road?

I just received my Pilot Road 2 from Competition Accessories, paid little more $ 269.98 delivered, but now I had my question answered regarding Michelin tire prices drop........MADE IN THAILAND.........is the answer.
I just hope they will be just as good as previous ones made in France or Spain.

Same process same company and the same materials why do you think the quality might change? I would be concerned with the dates on the tires and how they were stored prior to being sold to you rather than the country they were manufactured in.

What's the difference between the 190/55 and the 190/55 besides six bucks?

I've got about a thousand and some change on my Pilot Road 2's. For me, it's the perfect mesh between a commuter higher-mileage tire and sufficient grip for the weekend, more aggressive riding. I'm really diggin' the PR2's.

From what a buddy told me two weeks ago...he has had 4-5 pairs of PR2s. All pairs performed flawlessly when made in France or Spain. The last pair he said the front is wearing uneven and has never felt right. Guess what?...MADE IN THAILAND. He also commented on the mileage of both tires made in Thailand are also noticeably less than the Euro made tires.

I have decided to mount the new THAILAND PR2 on my old ZX-11, as the ones I have on ZX-14 have 2K left on them. Will see how they hold up under the old horse
