Greetings,
I have around 700 miles on her now and a buddy of mine has a 2013 model.
He has changed exhaust back and forth and he has an ECU with a flash from you.
He loaned me the ECU.
My question is: Is the tune compatible with my 2014?,and I do not know if this tune was adjusted for a aftermarket exhaust?
My bike is stock, can I run this ECU with no worries?
If it was set up for AM pipes I can't imagine it would be spot on for mine with stock pipes??
I love the idea of having a separate ECU for switching when taking in to the dealer for service.
PAUSE: just called dealer $914.00 quote for new ECU, that probably ain't going to happen!
He is going to want it back before long so I'd appreciate a response and then make the decision to send mine in to
you, or get new exhaust, then do it, but would love to try it out since I have the opportunity.

From what I've read just changing the silencers makes next to no impact on fuel metering. The stock units are very efficient in spite of a catalyst.

If the only difference between your scooter and your buddy's is the silencers then enjoy his ECU. I'm taking for granted the parameters in the ECU files are safe and engineered by a reputable vendor.

Who flashed the ecu? Im confused.

my buddy totaled one of his zx 14s,i'm guessing that's where he came up with a spare ecu

I do know late model car modding, my point being, if you install headers and or new intake and do not have tuned, the thing will run like crap.

No worries...the 2012 WON'T work in the 2013....well...it will...but you'll lose you abs....NOT accepatable;)C flashed my 2013...I already had a new stock ecu sitting here.Ran my stock one with the aftermarket pipes and all...THAT worked okay.Nothing like C's though.

The confusion is, this is not cblast's forum. You are excused for thinking so because of the banner and half the posts are about his flash, but no.
