Just looking for others' experiences on getting the lower two-piece plastic black cowl painted. My 14 is red and I'm wondering what others have paid to have this done. How it came out, etc. Obviously if your 14 is black this is a moot point but I've seen some silver, blue as well as red bottoms and I like the complete coverage.

Jesse, my 06 was also red with the black lowers and I much preferred it to my 07 which is all black. You can keep the bike looking better with no road rash or scratches for longer. Obviously a matter of choice, but I think Kawasaki got that one right for practicality.
