A quick video I shot while the bike was on the dyno. The quickshifter is the HM Plus Lever on stock settings.

TUps, I purchased it from HM. I'll warn you now, HM has managed to screw up shipping. First time I got a box, it didn't come with the YK harness. It came with a RSV4 harness. Oh, and I wasn't supposed to get the shifter in the first place. I pulled out of our forum group buy.
Second shipment, my order. The shifter gets delivered to the shop. I ask them to check the box. No wire harness. They forgot to send it because they were catching up on back orders. I did get the harness next day and it was the right one.
Great product so far. HM Packaging/shipping division, not that stellar.

PJizz, The HM shifter is just a lever with toe peg. You keep your stock rearset.

No problem Grn.
Just remember if anyone gets the shifter do not use it for 1-2 shifts. I never did this with my S1000RR with the stock QS. Talking with the tuner he mentioned that it's bad. Saying something along the lines the 1-2 shift for most gear boxes the required kill time is significantly longer than from 2nd to 3rd. I'm not an expert on this so since I never did this on the S1000RR I wouldn't do it with the HM shifter. With the tuner backing up my theory I guess I have been doing it right for a while.

i avoid quikshifting with my HM from 1 to 2 also. It seems to work fine from 1-2 at lower rpm but I don't want to risk banging any gears with all of the power there at peak rpm in first gear. Somefun was the one I initially heard express concerns about this. I followed his lead since I had already experienced missing a shift with the HM from 2-3.
