I'm glad there is a place where we can go and just talk about zx14. I'm new to this forum but looking forward to sharing my experiences with everyone here. I had to give up my ZX7R a few years ago and that was the hardest thing to do but i had too many priorities at the time, but i always said that i wouldn't give up the riding, so after a few years of watching everyone riding I finally decided it was my time to ride again. Everyone tried to sway me away from the ZX14R because it was too much bike. One of my buddies told me not to listen to the negative people and go and demo one and see for myself. Man am I glad I listened to him, after the ride i was hooked. I never felt that comfortable on my ZX7R. Let's just say it was the best decision i made for me, after picking it up and going for a nice ride i had a big smile on my face. I'm in love with my bike. Sounds corny but after not riding for so long that's how i feel. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way.
