This is a new pipe for the 14r by Hindle exhaust. It is not yet in production,I've had this pipe for close to a thousand KM,it has not yet been on the the dyno, but I'm sure its over 200 hp.Fit and finish is excellent, stepped headers 2.25 out ,bung for 02 sensor,16"muffler 2.25 inlet 2" outlet ceramic coated.Power output very linear,no dips and it does not have a power commander. This pipe sounds fantastic beautiful growl at low rpm ,warning growl at mid and a snarl at high rpm.On my 07 I had a 20" S-meg which at times could be too loud,I always knew when I was going too fast by the sound.(Mr Hindle have advised me to bring it in for repacking)My one and only complaint on the new pipe.......I can't hear how fast I'm going. This pipe will be a must for any rider who wants performance and be able to go long distance without noise fatigue.

"without noise fatigue"...yep....I know what ya mean.My Brock's was pretty much in the same category as yours...soundwise.I got that sound insert...not really expecting much difference..I was pleasantly surprised at just how good a 3-5 db difference made.Yet the 'sound' is still there...clinched it for me.

These engines do so much better when they can breathe a bit...don't you think?I'm really happy with mine.

200HP on yours?I wouldn't be a bit surprised.Maybe even more. They do have lots of room for bigger numbers.

Hindle is manufacture, they are very honest with dyno numbers, they were getting 207 sae corrected hp with the alien head 2.That is without a power commander.I have known Lang Hindle for close to 40 years and respect him more then any one else in the motorcycle industry. He spends a lot of time on development and cares about his product, thats probably why Brock has such a great product two very talented people working together. To bad Brock can't apex a corner,I guess he lives life a 1/4 mile at a time

UPDATE 3/5/2010: The method described below works for images that you've uploaded to an image hosting service like photobucket.com. An easier method of posting pictures to the forums is described in the first message here.
Here are some instructions for posting images in your forum messages.
Find a website that lets you upload images and that hosts them for you. Many of our forum members use Photobucket. You'll need to sign up by entering a username and password and then confirming your registration by clicking on a link in an email they will send you.
After you get signed up and logged in, you should see a box containing "Upload Images & Video". IMPORTANT: If your image is high resolution, in the "Reduce to" select list choose "800x600" (if your image is horizontal) or "1024x768" (if it is vertical). Then click the "Choose files" button in that box.
A file upload dialog box will open (if you're using Windows, anyway -- don't know about Macs). Select one or more files to upload.
The files will upload to the Photobucket servers.
After the upload is complete, you'll see a page that lets you add titles, descriptions, and tags. None of this is necessary. Just click "save and continue" on this page.
You will be returned to the "Upload Images & Video" page, and you should see a thumbnail of the image you uploaded. Hover your mouse over this thumbnail and a small popup box will appear. Click in the textbox to the right of "IMG Code" and press Ctrl-C on your keyboard to copy the code that's in the textbox to your clipboard.
Compose your forum message and at the position where you want your image to appear, click the "Picture" icon at the top of the edit box, press Ctrl-V on your keyboard, and click "OK" in the "Picture" popup box.
The code you copied from the Photobucket page should end up inside the img tag in your message. Probably best to leave a blank line above and below this tag for a bit of space. Save your message and you should see your image in it.
The reason for the "Reduce to" thing is that the forum's message windows can only accommodate images 800px wide or narrower. Images wider than that will have the right side cut off.
If you want to test the process before posting a message with a photo, please use the "Test Section" area (at the bottom of the list on the home page). This area will be cleaned out around the first of each month. -bg

Thanks. Would love to see that 2 1/4 header compared to the Alien Head 2 1/4. Wonder why the CT series has not made the change up in header size when working with the 14R ?

when i called brocks they said the ct exhaust was still in development and they didnt know when it would be available , the old ct can be made to fit but theyve already shown the new 14r has a different power curve hence the reason the new alien head 2 header and pipe makes more power

Yes, but we Now see Hindle has made the 2 1/4 header, so Brock will have the header soon one would think. New CT should be close at hand.

Lot's of folks have Brocks CT on the 14R's now with great results. Not sure I understand the comments regarding CT's aren't avalilable for the R? Clearly for sale for the 12 14R in fact my dual full system should be at Brocks next week after a 2 month backorder

The pipe that is available now is of the original CT design. When Brock found out the hp did not drop off up top he went with the bigger header like in the sidewinder, which is now in the Alien 2. This moved the hp curve and allowed 4 better flow up top, thus more hp. As I understand it. I thought his plan was to always make a New CT. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I thought.

Reading to much, makes me brain hurt. Not gospel but that's what I thought ?????

Peak HP is in the header when Lang Hindle was developing the bmw 1000 pipe, by increasing header diameter he got 200 hp, but he was restricted by clearance issues with the body work.Rick where did you get your new 14 from?

Well you could be right, but my understanding was that the CT that he is selling was the first to market full system designed specifically for the 14R. I'm not sure what he would need to do with a new CT since at least a half a dozen users that I know of on the various forums are using the CT on the R's and getting 200 HP and 120+ ft/klb tq.
Honestly IF there is a new CT design in the works, it's not gonna feel very good to me after buying what I believed to be the new design. I've been hoping that this pipe doesn't sacrifice tons of lower end torque for lots more HP up top. Most users report it doesn't lose any low end power. Now my brain hurts..
