Brand New Corbin Seat
07/25/15 8:36 PM

I have a brand new, never been used Corbin seat for sale. It is all black, no winged logo, no passenger backrest opening. $300 OBO.

Hi,

I am interested. Few questions:

1. Is this for Gen 2?
2. Is this the one with stitches?
3. Hardware included?
4. Shipping cost to 95110?

Thank you,
OM

Hi Hub,

"Gen1 fits gen2... I use a gen1 saet on a gen2 bike." Isn't Gen 2 bit wider than Gen 1? Isn't this causing slight gaps between seat and plastic? BerndV seems to be out of town and I found Gen1 Corbin on eBay for a good price. I want to make sure what I am buying, though.

Hi Jetfixer320,

Still waiting for reply from BerndV. He must be on holiday or something. The eBay one was my mistake. The seat was for Connie. So I am really counting on this one

You might do very well getting that Connie seat.It WILL fit...I have the ZX14 seat bracket right here...switch it out with the Connie's plates...perfecto!If you're lookin for SOFT and comfortable...you can't beat that connie...I uesed my old zx14 seat that I had extra here for modding my now seat.Threw the zx14 seat pan in the trash...last night,I thought...someone could USE that bracket...so I fished it back out.For YOU maybe?PMme if yer interested.I've used a connie seat...they're VERY nice for the long haul. And if yer takin a passenger.

Have you all seen the 2015 connie seat? I have and I thought it looked pretty good. I am assuming from what you all say that it will fit my 2014 ZX-14. Would hate to buy one off of E-bay and not have it fit.

2014 ZX-14R, ECU flashed with race fuel and ignition maps installed, Brocks full Alien head II (no muffler),2 lb.Lithium battery, BST wheels, Ohlins, Carbon fiber stuff, a ton of stuff taken off (fans, coolant tank,rubber/heat insulation, brackets and bolts, etc...) 430 lb.s total, with 208hp on rear wheel and a ton of torque. I weigh about 150 with gear on, This thing moves

2013 ZX-10, ECU flashed with race fuel and ignition maps installed, 1 lb lithium battery, Graves exhaust, BST wheels, Ohlins, 385 lb.s total, with 186hp on rear wheel, fun little motorcycle

FYI ... for those thinking the Concours seat might be the answer ... well it might ... but my good bud has a 2012 Connie ... and he wants to try MY ZX seat (hasn't had the chance yet, but will let him whenever)

He's also tried a Sargent and one other (can't remember) plus the Airhawk. And yet he's still searching.

Oh, he's about 5'-10" and 150. And I'm 6'-0" ~165 and also searching for comfort. Starting to think there really is no answer, that riding is just gonna be uncomfortable after a while, some days more than others.

Hi Sharp. I'd PM rudy. I'd say the answer to your question must be YES, it fits all ZX-14s 06 through present.
