That scheme seemed a little over the top at first but yeah, it's really growing on me now. I might fall for it if I see it in person. Over $17,000!! It'll easily be $18k out the door. ...then again, a new Corolla is now almost 30 grand.

If the black and green one is also available for 2024, that's not a bad looking design either! Probably at least a thousand bucks cheaper than the anniversary edition?

but I really like the anniversary edition now that I see it from all sides. The only thing I might change is to paint the grill fins black. It would work with the black belly pan.

Not really a nostalgia thing for me as more of an actual paint job vs a base color and some stickers.

I also think it's a good looking paint job, and even if this was NOT an anniversary throwback version I would like it a lot for those reasons.

14s are one of the best looking bikes out there, so they look keen in any color. OH, and something other than black or silver wheels.

I saw her in person and she's definitely flashy! I really did like the look but I was able to hold off. lol I just went 100% through my 2009 and added Ohlins forks and rear shock new M50 Brembo's with 330 disks and a ton more so there's no real difference IMO so I'm good for now. lol BUT!!! Now I'm thinking I'm going to trade in my Street Fighter V4 for the Multistrada RS. I asked the dealership to let me know where I'd be with the options I wanted. I love my 2022 Super Duke so much more and I never ride the SF so there's no sense in having her just sit there.

Somefun you remind me of my riding buddy Randy, the one I bought my BMW S1000RR from. He recently did a 180 on me and dumped all his sportbikes. He had a fully loaded 2020 BMW S1000RR he sold to me, a loaded 2019 Ducati V4S, a Ducati V4R, a 2015 BMW S1000RR, an HP4 Race and I can't remember what all else, all top spec stuff and then he sold and traded them all off and got a retro Z1 900 Kawasaki, a 2023 Ducati Pikes Peak and a 2023 Ducati Desert X. He goes through motorcycles like I change underwear...lol. Hey you only live once, this is it!

Here's the day he trailered the 2020 BMW over to my house, bike had every gidget, gadget and gizmo in the BMW catalog on it. He loves to spend money on his bikes..... and then sell them.

Kruz she's beautiful! My son bought a 2022 1000RR and set it up for the track. Great bike for sure! Yea I have a bike problem for sure. I do the same where I go through the entire bike and set it up for my style riding. I normally never sell them and just keep them but I'm out of room and I'm not really in love with my Street Fighter. The power deliver is all in the upper RPM range and that's not the best set up for the street. the Super Duke is like a diesel truck where it just pulls form down low like you can't believe. Shes a wheelie monster for sure and such a great bike to ride on the street. I think the Multi will be good to take them Mrs. for weekend rides and long distance stuff.

Hahaha words to live by Kruz!:) I talked to the owner of the Ducati shop late yesterday, He wanted to let me know that he has 3 street fighters on the ground now that guys traded in and he's having a hard time getting rid of them. Mine only has 2600 miles on her and sadly I put way too much money in upgrades on her and they will only give me $17,500.00 for her. I added about 16k in options and at the time I really never sold any bikes so it didn't matter but now its a pretty good loss. But if I'm not going to ride her I don't really see a reason to hang on to her. I was hoping to get 20k for her.

I guess I'm the odd man out. I never really liked that paint scheme when it was on the ZX7 and I don't like it on the 14. My personal favorites are the black and copper 2016 ( I think) and the recent grey and black

Well I wound up pulling the trigger on the Multi Strada RS! Going to swap the street fighter for her this Saturday. Should be a blast. (I Hope) lol

Some, with that said, I'm in 6th gear, high 3,000 rpm or 65mph, can open the throttle w/out downshifting, and gone before the car moving in my lane next to me, or at his rear quarter panel, nail it and see him as a dot in my mirror. Can the Duke meet or exceed that kind of torque the 14 puts out? Thanks.

I think I would have to say yea, Remember the Super Duke only weights a little over 400 lbs. I love my ZX14 and she's a blast to ride for sure. She's my hyper cruiser but she's a 2009 so I haven't ridden the 14R with the extra 100cc. So I can't speak about that girl though.

Thanks Some. Doing a little research at a KTM site, guy showed his oil screen with needle bearings caught before they'd enter the oil pump and really lock things up. Then picked the brain of a tech at a dealer and said some sort of combination of a lower rpm going from 5th to 6th can blow out the cage and splatter the bearing assembly.

Next was the tank to radiator mount combo they both use. Come down from a wheelie, the weight of the tank pushing on the radiator mounts can crack the core. That's what he's seen come thru the door. Maybe they changed the mount from gen to gen, I don't know. Just a heads up for you.

You mention the bike has been trouble free so I'm going to wait it out and see if the field pops up on some glitch the 1390 might have. No rush. Going to at least wait till Sept to see if mother tea bring out a faster bike than the 14 and put that bike to bed already... LOL

So I got my Multi Strada RS last Friday and I’ve put a little over 300 miles on her and I have to say she’s such an amazing bike to ride. I never thought I’d fall in love with the ugly girl lol but my gosh the bike is amazing! Very nimble and the motor is night and day better than the Street Fighter! I was real worried about that because the SF motor IMO was not a good moto for the street because all the power was 7,0000 rpm’s and up and low end torque sucked. This one they put smaller throttle bodies on and she’s got a bunch of low end and will rev to the moon! And between the dynamic suspension, seating position, heated seats and grips I’ve falling for her! lol

Cool Some. So I assume the RS holds no candle to the K for matching torque. Picked up my tax papers and took a ride to a multi dealer for a little entertainment on the way home.

Walk in and see the 40anny. Love the old style but same plastic pressings. Bar none, the best bike there. Now for the funny stuff or the 'Oh My, I can't believe the red tags?" It's packed with a lot of different brands of used clean trade-ins, new duc, used duc.

I mean, I'm looking at a bagger 1290. Maybe I wanna say '17. I've flip so many tags I remember '14 without bags. Then some of the winners had the red tag saying, 'Do not sell, recall.' Most everyone read the same. Boy, that GL was clean, but more a dream ride. A Honda with a recall on a GL?

Then I catch a red tag on your style bike, Some. But an early model in the late teens? Looks like that place is a buyer's market. I can throw a round number at that bagger and tell them to run the numbers backwards, because this is the price out the door, you want to pay for flooring this month.
