Review from the rear seat:
09/17/12 8:35 AM

Took my wife for a short 10 mile ride last evening. When asked if it were comfortable, she told me that it was surprisingly comfortable. She was dubious of its comfort with it being a sport bike look but was pleasantly surprised. She said she was more comfortable than on the back of my M109R. She wished the pegs were farther away as she has bed knees would like to be able to stretch a little more. I do not think there is any cross country touring in store for the 2 of us but it is encouraging. She said she felt very stable and the bike was planted in the corners as if it had four wheels. She commented on how smooth the acceleration was and thought the top speed we hit was 70 (it was a wee bit faster).
As far as riding 2 up, I do not do it that often. In 38+ years of riding, I would say that less than 1% of my riding has someone on the back and that is a generous number. This felt wobbly at slow speeds as any bike would. I got a lot of feedback from the bike letting me know anytime she moved or wiggled on the back. Once on the move, I could barely tell she was back there. Cornering for me 2 up is at no greater speed than I can still take it comfortably and stay planted in the center of my seat. My hat is off to you couples that I see with both of you hanging off the side of the bike in the corners. Cornering was easy and smooth. Smooth transition to rolling it over gently into the turn and it stood straight up after the apex as if it already knoew what to do. Acceleration with 2 up? I am uncertain if the bike even knew there was one person let alone two.

A lot of this is stuff I scoured the internet for. Somewhere out there, there is someone reading every post on this forum and deciding if this is the right bike for them. That was me a week ago. Hope this helps.

Motorcycles are perfectly safe, as long as you don't fall off and you don't get hit by anything...
