CBlast Flash
11/12/15 7:28 AM

Just wondering from all those with the Cblast flash vs the Guhl Flash? Has anyone ditched the Guhl for Cblast alond with the PCV.
If so, how many went for the Launch + Flash and what mods besides slip-ons. Anyone have full headers and a voodoo combination?

Thanks

Click here and read every word.

Draw your own conclusions from a position of maximum information. My ECU is still stock so take it for what it's worth.

Hagrid that's pretty interesting comment there. I agree. If you want a flash, just go with the $75 Schnitz flash that raises rev limit, removes top speed, open flies earlier, and a few other things.

For what some are charging $300-400 for it definitely doesn't make as much difference as those few things for $75.

I read where someone just recently said they saw a 13.1 AFR flash setting. A few toggles does not get you there. The stocker runs 14.1a without PAIR, 16 and change with.

The internal combustion engine is not too efficient as far as exploding all the fuel. The air to fuel ratio acts somewhat like a cooling agent, so this fuel does not have that much time to fully engulf its whole mixture. To help 're-burn' that mixture, an introduction of fresh air is sent thru the exhaust port. This cuts the emissions down as in helps continue to burn this vapor to a gas = P-assing [fresh] AIR.

When the engine is first started, before the exhaust has a chance to get hot enough to ignite leftover combustion products, the air injection acts to dilute the outgoing charge with fresh air, yeilding a 'cleaner' emissions sample.

So before the metal or any metal becomes hot to ignite the leftovers, I can light gas with a warm pipe, not add oxygen to keep [a fuel to air ratio to keep] exploding. However, a hot pipe makes oxygen to keep firing off the unspent. Is that how you read it or me explaining it is how I read how you see the science of a hot pipe to fuel ratio.
