thanks for the pics Blue been wondering what those would look like on our bikes. I've had my eye on the black ones with the skulls painted on them. Did you hook up the LEDs? Have you had it out yet? If so are the mirrors just for the sleek look or are they functional? I've heard you have to be tucked to see out of them.
gumby any cycle parts store sells the pigspotters but cheaper to buy off ebay

Ya Scott-I leave it like that so I can pretend it's a PCV and map it on the fly!YA Hoooo!!!Naw-just reinstalled my modded Jeff map.Actually-first off-thanks for the kudos guys.Secondly, they do actually allow you to see to the rear "kinda"okay.Except my shoulder's in the way a bit.No big deal though.Install was a tad involved. No I didn't hook up the LEDS.And no-they didn't "fit right over the existing mounts"as the guy said they would.(Ya Think?).But the fitment worked out just fine for me.Just took a bit of imagination on my part to visualize "the end result".After I got going on it,it went easy. They're not adjustable,so where ya install em is where they end up.The quality is very good IMO.They really look good on there in the real. But yeah, the mirrors ARE functional-amazingly.

I can't believe you can see anything other than your arm pits. The 14's mirrors are about the first mirrors I've been able to actually see, in detail, what's behind me. I've always done a maneuver I call the "Chicken Wing." That's where you lift your elbows as high above shoulder level as possible and wave them around a little. When cagers see you do this they give you wide berth. I guess, for good view without doin' the Wing, long, gangly and ugly is the trade off.
Those are reallygood looking Blue. Do they have the same problem as other ZX14 mirrors where objects seem to fade away quickly?
Is that turn signals on top? Do they blink sequencially?
I'm saving my pennies for a rear view camera. That would really be tight. Christmas is so long from now... The price should be coming down now that they are becoming more popular.

Hey Sharkey-ya-thanks for the props! You actually CAN see behind.I didn't expect to be able to-but the lenese are kinda "fisheye" shaped-I'm big into headchecks anyway,so checking behind is second nature to me anyway. Those are leds on the tops.I didn't connect those up,but ya-they will blink sequencially if connected."objects fading away quickly"....you mean, leaving em in the dust?ROFL!The little LEDS look like they're lit up in the pics-they're not actually.Made of clear plastic they are. It's the flash that's doin that.

EXCELLENT my man!Looks GREAT!!Is that a nice GAP I see in the fit there?WoHoo!!!My LP screen(Iridium) "had" a nice 3/16th" gap all the way around.Fixed it by gettin some of that window screen "rubber" stock-you know, the stuff that you press into the edge of the screen and the frame.NOT weatherstripping.Worked really nicely.Looks factory (almost-without the flash, you can't really notice the gap-fill)

Ya-see what your sayin.Mine is the same-except-she's a tad wider than that.I've got black allens on mine(bought em with a matching set of blue allens.Only thing-friggin heads will round out if I'm not REAL careful tightening and loosening. Are yours like that?(they weren't cheap either). But the quality is not like the stock allens, that's for sure.I thought I could do the same about the fitment-then I got to lookin at the screen-they didn't mold the outer edge where the wellnuts go through-that edge,it's flatter than the fairing edge,so no matter how close I could get the screw and wellnut together, the screen just isn't gonna be at the same angle as the fairing-kinda disappointed with that part, but you can't really see it unless you know it's like that(natch!!!!)I had to do somethin-it was drivin me nuts lookin at that gap!! I wanted to tell ya...the mirrors DON'T offer any rear vision-just a bit on the sides. You gotta do head checks NOW!!!!But I'm happy with em.Worth the time.

Well Ethin(howdy there!!BTW!)....the MRA is very nice-blocks a lot of wind.I'd recommend it if you're a little taller.Today(well, last night)I reinstalled my LP V series Iridium screen-gonna take er for a spin and see again how well she works. So far,the only screen that was WAY NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT was(is) my Zero Grav Touring screen. Now I've got my stock clip-ons on there, with about an 1 and a half inch rise-so my body position is lower and "closer" to the tank.Which of course changes the way the air flow hits me,as well as the aerodynamics of the screen shape.Just got back from my ride today.....Bike's runnin so awesome-I swear-flawless I tell ya! ...today's run.Anyway-that LP V series is workin real well also.Quite calm actually. As good or better than my other ones(zero grav ST,MRA Spoiler touring,Kawasaki stock,Puig Double Bubble.)
