ok. I have a 2002 Carrolla with about 130,000 miles. It's a crusty old clunker that I don't even like to drive over the speed limit by 5 mph because it makes so much racket. I need new brakes. I spent the morning removing calipers and rotors. Went to remove new rotor from package and .......5 holes! My old rotor has 4 holes! So I check the sales reciept and it says Brake rotors and pads for 2003 Carolla.

I'm not putting this crap back together to drive 2 miles to get the right parts. They won't run it out to me. So I F*^%#ing walk. ...and you know how much car brake rotors weigh?

No. The 14 is not running. The busa is in storage.

I'm just suprised they had the right parts after walking there.

Ahhhh. All done, but I think I'll think about that anyway. Speaking of grinding, I had to dremmel the tabs on the brake pads to get them to fit into the slots like the old pads. IDK if that is a normal installation procedure but if I hadn't done that, I think the pads would have been dragging and they would have never come out. Oh well. I won't need to worry about it for the life of this old beater. Three more years, tops.

Some aftermarket pads have excessive paint/epoxy on the backup plates which makes the fit of the pad tight.

Check this: if your caliper holder uses anti-rattle springs where the pad tabs live, then these are susceptible to buildup due to old grease and rust making the fit snug.

My girls 4Runner uses them on the front axle and I had to scrape a lot of crud out of those anti-rattle inserts. By rights you shouldn't reuse those clips but I do after some attention.
