Back a short few years ago I was looking at the BMW K1200R Sport and waited to long then they were gone. They quit making them in 2007 for the states so I just said screw it. May 9th of this year I added a 2009 BMW k1300GT to the collection of 2 wheelers in the gayrage. Saturday was BMW open house and I was gonna check out the K1300S to see what it was like compaired to the 14. Fat Boy (that would be me) goes thru the food line before anything else then walks over to the used bikes and there is a 2007 K1200R Sport in blue with 3000 miles on it.
Salesman said they would take the 14 in on the K.

I rode a co workers K1200R two weeks ago its very nice bike but it was a dog. I guess its all in what you like becuse he gave me my 08 CBR back and said he hated it. His exact words were " it feels like its going to run away from me or flip when I get on the throttle. Ahhhhh yeah no shit.

Must confess, the K1300S looks nice. Won't have the ZX1400's go, but yeah, maybe. Anyone seen pictures of the Honda VFR 1200 supposed to be coming?

I never rode a K1200R but did ride a K1200S when they 1st came out. Kinda liked the S and it did not run bad but it was no ricer in the power department. The R Sport had the style I liked and was just one of them bikes I would have like to get.
I have a 2009 K1300GT so that is as many beemers as I need. Did not even put 500 miles on the 14 in the year that I have had it because this year I lived at work. Now that the overtime has shut down the warm weather has shut down too.
