Back in the early 70s when I had my H1 still, I rode it from West Point, NY up to the University of Connecticut to get some tail. Seriously. Having spend the night doing that, I headed back Sunday morning.

The last hour or so it was pouring down rain and I was on the expressway to make time. I got in behind a tractor-trailer van and when I got close enough, there was no rain, and warm air coming from under the back of the van. I rode for 45 minutes or so within a few feet of his bumper, after making sure he saw me. But I was young, dumb, and immortal, and got very lucky and survived what could have easily killed me had any of 100 things happened. They just didn't.

So I understand this guy on the bicycle perfectly.
