IDK...I like these Angel GT's pretty well....quite grippy(neutral and smooth as well...turn in...excellent...right from the get go).I had Power 2's on my last bike for a while...just to see what all the hubbub was about...I wasn't impressed...JMO.I like Pirellis...but each has their own.Thing is...I don't really know HOW you feel 'confident' with a tire. She slips in a curve...at such and such speed...it's really too late to figure it out....Haven't reached that yet.Probably close...but not yet.160 leaned in...that's about my fastest so far.The Angels held...without TC.
And just HOW did you manage 12K outta yer Metzlers?????????OMG...it's a record fer sure;)Mine were gone at 1200.(the rear anyway)

If you ride in the rain then the Angel GT is prob one of the best out there for wet traction. Green is spot on with these tires. Also if you want great mileage Angel GTs got ya covered there too. I've been beating the piss outta for the past 800 miles since I put them on and hardly any wear. Don't know much about the Q3s

Nice!! I'd buff em off but that tc is givin me them whorls. You asked me how fast am I goin? Well bud, I hit a posted 40mph turn today at a 111 mph glide in to a 127mph exit as rollin on with that tc mode 1 level indicator climbing and feeding in the THROTTLE for me. Exit speed had me laughing inside my helmet screaming 'take that bitch!' As LOUD AS I COULD! Hahahaha! Fuck it!

If I push harder on the street I am leaving myself zero room for error or line adjustment mid corner. I DO have two kids. I like comin home. I just rape responsibly. :)))

Okay, so I went out and did it again, twice, just now so I am sure of it all. This first photo is where I gear down from 5th to 3rd aggressively to set corner speed:
The second pic is where I hold constant throttle, reach down see if I still got a pair as I roll on and grab fourth, I exit hard and grab 5th:
Hahahahahaha, now I'm all jittery and adrenaline dumpy! :))) gimme that crack! I need that crack! Crack! :)))

I wore the Angel GT's right to the edge last weekend at Deal's Gap. Both front and rear. I rode responsibly until the final day where I pushed it a little harder. The front broke loose twice within minutes. Might of had something to do with running the max psi but needless to say, it was unnerving!

Yeah, when running hard the tire temps run 4-5 sometimes more hotter, hard run temps can be 8psi over cold. Makes greasy at limit. I run 38 front 39 rear when runnin normal. Long as I am within a .5 psi of that it seems fine when warm. If I know I am gonna do a long day of hard riding, I check em at every gas stop.

Hey C, I was thinking of dropping the pressure before I ran it but was to lazy. Next time I'll drop it a few and see how it does. Other than that, really happy with them. It's my first set of GT's but ran 3 sets of the ST's prior.

I know! I love Pirelli tires! The pressure makes a big difference at lean in how that contact patch either conforms to the road or doesn't. Hence that slip you felt right away. The less pressure the broader the conformation of the patch. BUT I just check often and keep it in the sweet spot. Too little pressure causes the squirmy slip.

No shit huh bean??? Nitrogen. Makes perefect sense. The molecules in nitrogen don't react to temp change as radically. Less pressure jumps! Wicked. I want nitrogen in my tires.

Jaysuss C...'alone'...yeah...I definitely know what THAT is;)I go for a ride with a feller...1098 Triumph I think it was.Shit...he's all geared up...I'm thinkin..."okay...he wants to roll"....WRONG.Through the finest sweeps and cool s's,he's like...WAY back there.I'm like...'WTF"....sa'll good I suppose. It was excrutiating keeping my baby at 65 most of the ride...several hundred miles.I finally switched bikes with him....let him feel the ride of the mighty 14R....he LOVED it...though I can't say I felt the same about his 'way cool' sport touring Triumph....ahem...scuse me...had to cough there;)
