Just put this on- compared to this NO brackets(other than stock)needed. No extra parts to get. It's an 08 zx10 fender-the pic doesn't really do it justice:( And a couple more-

Right on Gumby-thanks for the kudos-It does look good on there in person.Still waiting on the zx 10 brackets for the "other" 10 fender(which I won't be getting now). Here's a straight on shot--and this-[IMG]http://i573.photobucket.com/albums/ss176/blufire_photos/fendermounts001.jpg[/IMG

And while we're lookin' at these straight on shots-CAN ANYONE tell me if this tire wear looks "normal"?The strip in the middle is "slightly"higher than the "sides"(which have a more angular instead of round profile)Thanks all.(PSI 42)

so it uses stock brackets and requires no modification all while looking way cooler than an old style zx-10 fender. GREAT JOB. I think we are gonna have a new trend on our hands

Thanks for the positive input you all.Didn't really know if it would look cool or not,so used to having a stocker on there!THE ONLY MOD-you remove stock brackets(bolted on the front of the fork tube). You'll see THREE threaded holes. You turn the bracket(with long side facing down)(you use the lower fork hole). You remount using the "other" threaded hole(there's two on the bracket for the fork attachment). The "bent" part of the bracket goes outwards, not in towards the tire.YOU WILL HAVE TO CUT(or you could grind I guess)the remaining threaded outer dimension of the bracket (the threaded hole that will be pointing forward)(the "ear" will push against the inside of the fender and prevent it from fitting back far enough)(you'll see what I mean if ya don't cut that piece back some). Then you rotate the bracket long side down and AGAINST the fork tube(the black caliper part)I used red loctite.I wouldn't just bolt it in there. Then you mount the fender on the bracket, using red loctite again, and snug her up tightly(but don't crack the plastic)(she'll sit on there exactly right if the bracket is against the fork caliper mount unit(in front). That's it-I'll be ridin her today or soon-It can't go anywhere. You've got the crossover brake line holding the fender. It can't go rearward-the fork tubes would stop it.My ONLY concern is if it will hold okay with just those two allen head screws in there(I used the stockers, with the BLACK WASHERS in there to cushion it.We'll see-I really don't think it's going to have any problems-it's PLENTY solid, though I wouldn't go yankin on it to see once ya got it tightened up and the loctite sets. The weak spot would be the lower fender hole.I'll be watching that to make sure it doesn't start cracking or something.Other than that-it fit PERFECTO!!The fender will not contact the UPPER fork tube(where the fork seals are) if it's in there right-there's enough clearance for the fender to slide up or down without rubbing.

Hey ZX-glad ya like it.The fender was $98.00 which included shipping.Bought it through "cheapcycleparts"(I know, sounds ,well, cheapLOL.)But it was shipped in perfect condition-Just takes a tad longer to receive it cause they have to order it from somewhere else first. They have a really nice microfiche parts listing on their website.Really good people there. For all those who don't like the "black fins"-guess this is the fender to get?(I liked my 14 stock fender, but I like this one more;) ).Here's a couple more

hate when that happens
it's not hard though newf. once you look at the fender and the brackets it'll make sense to you. i'm not mechanical at all and i figured it out pretty easily. maybe blue can take some more pics, but trust me, it's not difficult at all.

if you've changed or deleted them from the host site (photobucket) they will not show up. go check them out in your photobucket account and see what's wrong. if those pictures are gone and you didn't save them in your computer you'll have to take more. if you've got them saved in your computer you can just dload them again in photobucket.
