Commodore. Was sold as the G8 here in the states. If I can make it another 18 months without a ticket, I'll be parking a G8 GXP in the garage... if not, I'll stick with my Mustang. Way cheaper to insure.

I took the COMMADOR OUT FOR A DRIVE IN THE COUNTRY (IT'S LEASED) SON SAID DAD WHAT YA THINK? I donno ! hey? Nah not good or bad just so nothin the Coon (Ford) is finished inside an out better IMO AND HAS FEEL/Soul THE GMH IT'S Strange it doesn't steer bad but it's got no soul "Feel" it picks up OK just so I don't know, it's just a car! not inspiring

I like the drive train of the Commador MUCH better! But, I'm biased and LOVE the GM LS series motors!

Thats funny LOL how we all (or most of us) had with a natural bias for the main two! Me too I must admit!!!!! The main manufacturers here when I was a LAD was you liked "FORD" OR "GMH"(CHEVY} THAT WAS IT!(sorry we also had what was referred to as the Maritvel Mersadies "CHRYSLER" thier was this new Datsun coming here in the late 60's Hell the brand choice now in the last few decades is incredible too ! gotta say they (ASIAN's) have forced the big two! to pick up their game hell GM had one of two only models Toarana and a Bellmont that did'nt give ya amrest's , carpet floors or a ciggaret lighter (they were the only ones) and Chrysler had full instruments carpet floors etc more than the big "TWO" yer a lot has changed since the 60's

Geez Bean, remember the good ole days when you could look at a car from 100 yards away and still identify it. Looking at the Falcon & the Commodore in that pic of yours you have to have a good look to pick which one is which. I used to belong to the Holden tribe when I was growing up had Torana after Torana. But I've worked for Toyota for the last 25 years so I've kinda been indoctrinated to the Brand

I Get ya on that same but Cortina etc, I HAD A BA Coon she drove better than my TL Magna I think all brands are nice to drive nowa days,my most favorite car was the Nissan X-TRAIL extreme I was laughed at by even best mate and partner as they had a "real" SUV lol I did a hard full on days running with some full time 4wd mates of mate they to laughed at my pre-tend Suv, tell ya after deflating the tyres three times for massive sandunes,soft sand, rocks you name it the "Big Boys" full on driver said to me he was "Stunned" at the X-Trails day out, I got snatched out twice while most others got snatched out up to four times! My best mate Goody on any car trip jumped at any chance of driving it !!, He and I regreted me selling it ! the only reason was it paid for my 09ZX1400.

Have a mate that gets a new car everyday, every model thrashes them hard, all ya foul-coons and dunny-doors he's a Holden man but says the XR=6 turbo is the best alround by far. they also have Evo lancers etc.

He's a highway Patrol cop, says the ford is the leader of the pack.
better than the V8 cars
