I guess there's not a lot more to say. It has to do with new Google procedures concerning ad revenue. These forums are so important to me, I don't know what I'd do without them.

BG, I left you a post on your FB page regarding the idea of starting a new Hayabusa forum maybe with format similar to this one...pretty much the way this site got started with old members gathering at the new site. Is it a worthwhile prospect or do you think it would make more sense to simply migrate to a forum that already exists? Hayabusa.org will be gone but there has been another forum called SuzukiHayabusa.org for some time. That would seem to be the most logical new home for busa enthusiasts but I would consider putting my time into operating a new forum if that's necessary and possible.

Really bummed to hear this. I just recently acquired one I'd built for a friend that passed away. I've been gathering a few parts needed and had put some stuff out on the site with zero responses...

well, keep an eye on the org, I expect someone will suggest A new forum to take up residence at. I'm going to check out SuzukiHayabusa.org this weekend.

Well guess what....the org is saved at the last minute. Our admin did some last minute IT gymnastics and it looks like the site will be saved. What we need to do as members is actually sit down a minute and type messages to each other rather than hit the emoji button. We also need to look at the advertising. If google sees activity in messages and ads, the site makes money.

Did the admin just go out on a limb with a scare tactic? If so, I don't have a problem with it if that's what it took to wake people up. I'm glad to follow suit for this free treasure trove of information and immediate help. I would be lost without it. The same goes for this forum. If I need to do something a little extra to make it a bit less bother for BG to keep this place going, I'm glad to do it.

Absolutely a good thing to have the .org still around! I have over 2 decades there and have seen and been a part of so much from that site. It has set a very igh standard for forums. Not taking anything away from this forum.

I'm glad you'll be back there BigBS....and here too. We'll have lots to share and talk about.
