Nice! I like it but before I get one of those, I'd have to buy a refurbished 1978 Yamaha DT-100. That was my first bike as a kid. A real motoX bike would be awesome but that little enduro would bring back memories.

Rook, this freeride is an enduro/trials hybrid. All bottom and mid power geared in the dirt. The last thing I need is a super fast moto-x bike. My property is real hilly and I wanted something to crawl around on. My first bike was a Honda SL125, I thought I was Bob Hannah lol.

Sweet ride, I added this a few months ago to ride with my son in-law and try to get my grandson interested. Don't let the first place fool you as I was in a class of one at the event. I still would have had a 3rd place podium position had I entered the 60+ class with 4 entries.

Fordtech, 2 stroke?

Oh, one of those I've seen climbing up over bolders and hopping around on the rear wheel! Those are awesome!

Both my girls express an interest in motorcycle riding. On the one hand, it makes me shudder, on the other, I'd love to teach them. The DT-100 was a great bike for me to learn on and I was about 60 lbs bigger than they are now even though I was 10 years younger than them. That bike fed into other experiences. I could drive a stick shift right away. I even was able drive big trucks pretty easily as a teenager all because I learned a little manual transmission. Now I want to know how everything works and that's a rich part of my life. This is a really wonderful, complex thing that will be gone in the next decades except for collector pieces. I'm pretty sure the trails I road as a kid are still there. I really should just go off and look for them even on foot.

Always been a 2 stroke addict at heart. Had this from new in 1984 until I sold my NH house in 2016. It went to a good friend and I still get to ride it whenever I go north!

That is AB-SO-LUTELY gorgeous Fordtech. That's the kind of thing that made me drool when I was a teenager in the 80s. Motorcycles with fairings, they were race bikes on the streets. That combined with the bike scenes from Mad Max, I was hooked. I always wanted one. Now I have a few. As for the two-strokes, my DT-100 was a snappy little bike. I'd love to experience a larger one.

Hey Daddyrabbit my first new bike was a 1972 SL 125 Honda that was crowned the "Turtle chaser of the year" by Dirtbike magazine at the time! I upped the anti this past Saturday with a second place finish among 5 riders in the 60+ class as that was the oldest age class they had.
