Wolfman, I was at a local bike shop and over herd someone tell the salesman that. I really don't think that kawasaki would have changed anything on the zx14r from 2012 through 2014 or even 2015 for that matter.

Hp is always gonna vary from machine to machine, clutch condition, dyno machine/operator. 5hp is nothing.
Example- My bike with full Brocks exhaust and a half fried clutch dyno'd 186 while forum member Bradley's bike with two bro slips and a good clutch dyno'd at 189 two minutes prior on the same machine with same operator.

Yes. As I was told by the boys at Brocks, seemingly small things like chain being not lubed enough or bike being strapped down a bit too tight can cost you HP
I e mailed them and asked cause I was a bit disgusted after I dynoed a mere 187hp/107ftlbs torque with a PCV and Brocks ct dual full system. Lol
I was expecting my $2500 exhaust investment to put me over the 200 mark!!!!!
But they say dynos and conditions are very finicky and vary greatly so it's nothing to lose sleep over
I don't guess. But 200 would have been nice to have as a bragging point. Lol

Dynos numbers are just that....numbers.
My 2014 made 185hp stock
made 195hp with a Brock CT full exhaust.
but
what matters MOST it did 208.1 mph
That's the number that matters!!!!

Fic, that would be no. Cam part numbers go across the board from '012 to '014. Besides the many variables and that 5hp spread, compression plays a part in that.
MAN64, I have 240psi cold... I'd like to see that number be beat or my gen1 220psi bragging numbers for the gen1. I can't tell the racers from a leak/compression test? Wait a minute. I said that wrong.
In fact, I'll let the aftrmkt filter guys/gals send oil down the spark plug hole, just so they have a chance getting near it. The gauntlet has been thrown.

$175, I was expecting worse ;D Was my first ticket in 17 years.
It was bound to happen. Only crappy thing is that it gave the wife some ammo about the bike LOL.

so many factors affect dyno results comparing different bikes (fuel, oil, mileage, etc.) that were run in different states (elevations, fuel, etc.) by different dyno operators on different dynos (different calcultions, correction factors, etc.)...basically makes it all pointless to try to compare your results to another persons.
Other than tuning your own bike overall dyno results are about as pointless as it gets.

Shut the fucup you county heard from 'knowitall.' FFS, where in the fuck are your compression numbers? First you check compression to see if the bike is worth tuning at all! I sea wear these piperBMCocksuckers and their sad ass results.

Mav/1bad/Smoke/Cblast/Romes/OTHERS need to get on the stick you start in with thishituning. Pussies that don't pull plugs and check are not your real deals. More talent than you basic very first move. I just woke up, got out of the wrong side of the bed and here I am back to reality.

They were going to pull the plugs then they saw white paint on them and decided they'd have to buy another motorcycle instead!!!

From the service manual page 19 General Info 1-9 - 147.2 Kw is a big number – not sure I believe it but??
From a simple converter thats 197.3 Hp
So mother KHI’s spec for a 14R is 197.3 Hp and 120 lb-ft torque ??? IDK
