2008 ZX14 for sale, 10,000 miles, included brand new Zumo 665 gps and NavTraffic/Weather antenna, Givi luggage, and more (see below).

Included with the Givi top- and side-cases (see description, below) is a RKA tank bag and an RKA seat bag, for when you just have to haul more stuff. Givi luggage is monokey, one key fits side cases and top case. Extra keys.

Engine has mid-range velocity stacks, PowerCommander 3 USB with great, tweaked, map installed. Almost new Michelin PR2 tires. All carbon fiber.

Kawasaki GPP is good until April 2015, and Service Contract is good until April 2012.

I just wish I could wrench on it just one more time, and pull the ceramic coated CT-DUALS exhaust off, and put the OEM exhaust back on (I still have it) and drop the price $2,000 and dump it.

Then I could put the CT-DUALS on my C14 when I get it.

But my back and neck aren't having anymore of that wrenching stuff. Its all I can do to continue resistance training to be able to still ride.

The offer of selling at $8,500 (below asking price on Cycle Trader) expires at the end of November 2011. After that, its whatever the asking price is at Cycle Trader.

To help anyone out who might want it, I will accept two payment, with title provided when paid off.

1) $5,000 now, by certified check. The bike can stay winterized in my garage until Spring, if need be.

2) $3,500 no later than January 15, 2012, by certified check. Title transmitted when check clears my bank.

All listed accessories will be provided. I'll put most of them in the top case, and the Barrier Bars are still in the original container, I never took them out. If I find the SW-Motech mirror wideners and toe chain guard, I'll include them as well, though they aren't on the list.

The bike is insured year-round, for theft and collision too, so in the event something catasrophic happens like a meteor lands on the garage, you'd get your money back. Otherwise, no refunds, no backing out.

This offer expires after November 30, 2011.

On November 30th, I'm going to also list it on eBay, for a 30-day auction, with the same terms offered, but then you'd have to bid on it. It will also have a buy-out option of $12,000.

And it would still be a good deal for someone who wants to ride like do, going to places 1,000 miles away and staying for a week and so on.

I'm really shocked no one is biting. Yet I'm sure it's the extreme tour package you have there. Not that that can't be changed. Do people know just what a set of luggage really costs? You are almost giving this thing away.
Myself, I think next time I go sport I'll lean toward more race oriented rather than tour. But crap with all that CF you got on there, I'd have a hard time not dry humpin my bike every day. lol

Having built my own tourer14 I'd just like to say if someone is thinking about this, just buy it and sell the bits you don't want because it's a great deal any way you look at it. Quit being a pussy!

Got my first serious inquiry off CycleTrader an hour ago. Fellow totalled his ZZR1200 in an accident, and is waiting for the insurance check. We'll see. But at least I know people are reading the adv.

Got a REALLY serious information request from my Craigslist listing. Guy says he'd bring a trailer to pick it up. Wanted to see pictures of the cockpit, since I didn't have any posted but talked about the LSL and the electronics pod and etc.

I'm pretty sure one way or another, my beloved ZX14 is going to be gone by the end of the year, possibly the end of November.

Then I'll take the money over to my dealer and put a big downpayment down on my C14. That should make them happy.

Wow, since I put in on craigslist last week, I've gotten two serious offers. Both full price. Giving the first guy to ask first choice, he has until end of next week to call me and arrange payment. If he cannot, second guy gets his chance. But first guy is just rabidly interested, in a very good way.

Actually, it may not even get sold. Dealer is giving me a sweet trade-in deal if I want to go that way.

I'll get to keep the 2010 C14 Factory Gel seat and all the accessories not yet installed. And get almost as much as I could have sold it for.

So if the Connie comes in before someone sends me the first payment (to get the title clear of the no-interest loan I've got) then whoever ends up owning it will have to buy it through my dealership.

They seem to think they could sell it easy, or they wouldn't want to make such a good deal.

Yep... Once you factor in the trade-in bonus Kaw is offering and $$$ saved on tax, you make out as good or better.

If I pull the trigger on the "R", I'm thinkin' about trading in my woman's ZZR... Worth about $3k on Craigslist (OUCH!)... but $4k in trade-in.
