Wowsers. It would've been nice to have the numbers from your bike on that dyno (different dynos, configurations, corrective factors cause different readings) prior to flashing. But it is generally accepted stock bikes around 190 hp. That's very impressive considering C's flash is "cookie cutter". Damn..I can't wait!

That is stark hilarious!!!!!
Bunzx takes his bike with a Cflash and a full system Brocks pipe to Brocks headquarters and you post 210 (first run) 211' and 212.9. With just a Cflash and a pipe. And brocks team be like, "???" While the bike is on the Brock's dyno. Hahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaa.
That's plain hilarious. I can see the guy wearing the Brock's shirt and scratching his head, "ehh ahh what now!"
Lol
Ok all the haters can post now. I guess folks who run the flash know, and the staff at Brock's now know too...
212.9 was measured on pull four with a Cflash on Brock's dyno - contest that!. I might also add here look at those torque values. I'd pay big money to be a fly on that wall that day. "Hello everyone, WTFWT!"

Very Nice BUNZX14
Ok all the haters can post now. I guess folks who run the flash know, and the staff at Brock's now know too...
I hope I'm not lumped into the hater of anything club Wolf but I watch for anything that breaks the science of these bikes. This post above sort of suggests that. I can assure you, Nothing new here, more of the same. Another Flash thread about to start of that you can be sure. From here hopes of the magic pill will grow.
Once again guys no magic pill, Sorry. Yes I will be the bad , booooooo.
What were the numbers before the mods?
Dyno is tuning tool only. Before then after #'s must tell the story. Peg is on the correct path.
"cookie cutter".
Yes, all these ZX 14's fall into the cookie cutter mold. With that being said, On Brocks Dyno, the #'s are exactly where they should be. If they were not, then we search for more. Hence the proper use of a tool, bragging rights I guess are lumped in here. Which is why some guys get over happy others become saddened.
No One ZX14 is capable of making a jump from 190 to 215 without the next new ZX14 cookie cutter bike being able to do exactly the same. The number 25 is a huge Gain
I'm Making this post as I try and place myself in the shoes of all owners of these bikes. I can assure you some are thinking in the back of there minds, {maybe, with the exact same flash} "Why is my bike only 200 or 190". To that thought I say Boys don't let Dyno #'s chase you down the rabbit hole. Use them as a marker to show your tune is going in the right direction. Nothing More.
If I just posted That Santa is not real and hurt anyones feelings that was not my intention. Yes I know some will see it that way. So Be It. cheers
Old News, Brocks #'s is May 2012.

Hey Romes, not directed at you, Haters were folks who challenged the results on (CBLAST proven results thread and were suggesting his sheets were hyperbole and cats who bad mouthed the flash in general). I just thought this was an interesting measure. I guess if I was on the floor tuning and some cat showed up with a flash and pipe and pulled 212, I might be darn impressed. I'm sure the staff were. I don't know, I wasn't there, Bunzx what did they say?
My bike when tuned pulled 205.6 (with Yosh dualies) not 212. Impressive indeed.

And really the NITROS and BOOST riders see 212 as no big thang. I was however impressed. Well maybe even excited as I have the same flash.
NOS a top 212 is narly, with 100shot it's dam cool. Just putting that number in perspective anyway.
Hope folks don't take the hater comments personally just thougt a result like this on Brocks dyno gives it an arbitrary stance.
Bun zx were your secondaries removed. I believe you ran a stock bike with Cflash and pipe. No piggy no secondaries - right? And once again I would say look at the torque numbers too.
Ps the Cflash update I got was right around the time Brock's posted this vid. Interesting how these two men are uniform in their path to power. Perhaps ghoul, Ivan's or other flashes do a pull on the same dyno with same bike. That would be interesting indeed.

IMO the Flash has changed the order of what the Mod list on our bikes Needs to be. Flash 1st then pipe, then tune for mph

Wolf, no one wants to see all you guys find some kind of "New" power gains more than myself. Facts are simple, we hit the wall back in 2012 with untouched motor.
NOS hundred shot is damn cool too. But, like all major power adders comes with it's own headaches. Once going over 25% of rated Horsepower The Grim Reaper has his eye squarely fixed on you.
Also before I forget to mention. DO NOT spray that bike with a Flashed ECU. Or I wouldn't I should say. She may never leave the Dyno.

Romans don't take my "cookie cutter" comment as something meaning a range of 50% or something. All the maps people download from Ivan's, Brocks, Guhls, etc. these are all cookie cutter as well. It's only custom if the bike itself was put on the dyno.
Cookie cutter that it is not custom to the specific bike (or whatever). With a cookie cutter, somewhere around >98% maximum performance is achieved, where a custom map/tune should be 100% of maximum available performance. Or to say, C's flash is based on tuning with his exact test bike (Priscilla I presume) and there will be some slight variance between that bike and other bikes (if nothing else perhaps fuel, air, temps, etc.), but it will be very small. So it's a custom tune for Priscilla (or whatever bike it was developed on), but since it's copied to another bike it becomes a cookie cutter.
The exact same would happen if you and your friend had identical bikes but you had different makes/models of exhaust. Your friend took his to get dyno tuned and then you copied the map onto your bike. His would be a custom tune, 100%. Yours would be a copy, and probably not follow 100% maximum but very close to it, >98%.
I have stated this prior to this elsewhere on the forum. I'll be calling C in the next couple weeks to get my ECU sent to him. I don't think I'd bother spending $400 for 50%. For >98%...fuck yeah!

.......I would still much rather have the tune done on the actual bike when it comes to spray...wolf you going to add a progressive controller when you do it?

No I wasn't. In 100% agreement. Here is one for the ole noodle. Run your flash, or anyones. Your bike, your elevation your fuel that days AR. Add 2% fuel did you run faster ? Take away 2% did you run faster ? Or does everyone believe bike is done with No More gains to be found ???
So what is Cookie cutter
Bike yes.
Fuel No
Mod List, anyones guess.
Flash, Yes. Or up for debate. You pick. AFR line tells the story.
Most all Flashes have had updates.(As They Should) Many started with the old AFR #'s of the Gen one bike 13.1 which was roughly the fastest AFR for that model. Smart tuners now copied the Brock line of 13.8 which is the fastest line for this bike. Study all the Dyno sheets that show up watch here. 10 bucks says Brock Line from 2012 still stands.
Elevation ='s different for all. Sea level or 10,000 feet.
Your days AR, tuning on your bike should be played with IMO. What if there is more For "Your" bike ??? I'm thinking you want it. No ? My thinking is more mph can be found. No cookie cutter here. Map switch please.
Keep playing, watch your AFR line. If your 14R is off that AFR line fix it. Great place to start playing.
What I'm saying is only meant to help. Grain of salt. Cheers

I would love to load up a current version of the Romes flash this summer. I think I have unlimited flash updates as per the purchase of your original Romans flash. Then I'd like to run them both. I am sure they will shine C and Romes in all kinds of cool places. Some gains overlap, some don't. Romes u in?

the only mods that I've done are the Cblast flash and the Brocks full exhaust nothing else was touched, I've not messed with the secondaries, I'm new to sport bike world and was just looking for some input on how my bike is running , and i wanna give a shout out to Cblast for all his help and to the guys at Brocks they are great bunch of guys who were super helpful, i even meet Brock himself great guy. the guys there were excited about my #'s and added that for what I'm going do with the bike she needed nothing else but ridden , keep cruising all,

I've always been in. Pull one ECU install another, overlap the two. Simple. If C is willing I would like to post page for page what's in both the flashes so all can see what they pay for. Like a PCV Map. Could make for a great thread. If it's fun I'm in. Turns to BS and Name calling I'm out.
Wolf if your bike is on the surgeon's table doing the NOS build as we speak I would think More Flash talk is behind you. Scary tuning of exact science is now directly out front with 100 shoot. Big Build Lumes. Passed around internet talk goes out the window.
Very curious as to the cost of a full NOS built bike. Is this still work in progress ?
If you want, I can build you a 280 hp bike for 7 grand this summer. Planning two maybe three bikes at most. Give it some thought.
