I think they call that suicide riding; not sport riding. Unfortunately, he might take someone else with him in such close quarters. He IS NUTS--that is quite evident. I'm not sure the point of the vid was to display any kind of riding skill. Just pure balls.

Does anyone remember that Russian dude with the red 14? BackintheUSSR was his name, I think. He also had a lane splitting vid not nearly as intense as this. Maybe lane splitting is legal there? Pretty sure wheelies are not.

This is on the road but it isn't road racing. It's just hot dogging at considerable risk to everyone else on the road.

Had a very nice Friday afternoon ride today....kept er at 65,70,80....occassional 90.Very fun and relaxing actually.Ya....the guy in that vid...and anyone else acting like that on two wheels has got an appointment with the undertaker most likely sooner than later.

No, not me...I was just goofing.

In my younger days, we used to pass 5-10 cars at a clip, at high rates of speed, on straightaways.
Never did the weaving through traffic thing. That never looked right to me.

Then I found the track and started racing. I got rid of all my street bikes during those years, just didn't enjoy riding on the street anymore. I was living in CT at the time and there was just too much traffic, with idiot drivers, to enjoy it.

When I moved to upstate NY, I bought my ZX14, the roads are wide open and there is no traffic. There's still hazards, like a slow moving tractor as you round the corner or cow manure across the road. And of course, tons of deer and turkey. But at least I don't have to deal with lots of idiot drivers.
