Thanks for the kind words
As for my 14R I am thinking about getting a new ------ to kinda refresh it. Not into "bling" or other such loud accessories but aside from a possie flash, any suggestions to freshen-up the attraction to my 14R after this episode?
Not ridden either bike at all since the wreck/surgery.
Gotta admit, Them Diavels are cool style and unique but with no dash and being almost a naked cruiser I doubt that'd hold my interest very long
The KTM Superduke 1290 would also be unique and a cool bike to have but you a drawback is I can't take the new wife with you. It's also another naked bike. Hate to invest that much then regret it shortly thereafter
The 14R is one fine, fast, smooth machine. As we all know. Leaning towards keeping it and realizing that the initial wow-factor would wear off of any new bike I may get. And the new bike, more than likely wouldn't have the assets the 14R has. After something like this it is kind of easy to get complacent and forget what you have/how good you've got it
I do know that it's unnecessary for me to have two bikes with the more time that I have to ride; so it will be one bike for me after this
But does the desire to get something new (temporary desire?) override my love of the 14 R? You more than likely take a loss every time you trade, also have to keep that in mind
