3wTF = "I changed the final drive ratio and my TC computer hates it."
3amigos = Spark-Fuel-Compression.
3wV = The 3 wire Variables.
zx14racer ~ "Hey hagrid I told u how to fix that with 16-43 gearing. When u try it I want a big fat kiss from u!!!!"
It's more like Homage to the Members is most of you schooling me. More like the abstract I make up. This is the makeup of most anything you think about. Slow as I was sneaking up on the variable, I'm trying to find the 3 spoke combination is knowing wattheFourth?
But to me it says WTF are we toning?
1st V. My first variable is the 4th one sitting here all stock. I know I am tampering with a preset. So I change rear sprocket only. WTF is I changed the final drive ratio and my TC computer hates it. One sprocket down: is the frequency channel and now you disrupt whom?
2nd V. Whom be the 3 bangers? Am I banging my (a)sprocket speed sensor come around off tone? Am I banging (b)tone wheel roll into the sensor via back sprocket change? Am I out of frequency between front and rear tone wheel inputs?
3rd V. WATT IF I reset both speed/rear/matches front tone wheel speed is close to that ratio. "Hey, I told u how to fix that with 16-43 gearing." So is the front wheel being pushed at the same type ratio come around as stock? Are we back to some combo is the frequency change?
4th V. Back to watt I was trying to explain about tone wheel balance, but I was told not? The 4th V has 3 components:
I. The rear wheel ratio
II. The rear sprocket ratio
III. The c/s sprocket ratio
IVth Variable = Tone wheel inputs is my guess. How does one set off the kskid? Tone wheel read. If the front wheel is off the ground, did the front tone wheel change ratio slowing down? Yes is my guess. If you light the rear wheel up so as to bring it around, is the front tone wheel keeping up? No is I guessed again.
So, is not the tone wheel ratio a NOLTT kind of ratio? Someone said it would not make a difference. I want to be wrong so these are my steps. Lets see the counter steps if the 16-43 sort of went back into compliance.

The first thing I'm going to do is buy a new 42 tooth sprocket and verify everything goes back to normal.
Here's some info: if I launch at quarter throttle and just climb thru the gears in a moderately aggressive fashion, no intervention. The only time it misbehaves is during slow, easy power application in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. When it does stutter, it does it in threes. Its as if an invisible hand is gently but quickly rolling back the throttle three times within the span of one second, then one second of normal power, and then repeat. That condition will exist in all three gears until you accelerate out of it. I can cancel the condition once it starts by disengaging the clutch, rev up to 3K, let the revs fall, re-engage clutch and add enough throttle to significantly increase my rate of acceleration.

Hagrid drove about 150 miles yesterday and its perfect. Just switch the dam gearing to 16 43 so someone else can confirm it also. It drives exactly like stock with more pull but perfectly smooth. My bike bucked around exactly like yours till I switched to what I have now. When you finally get to doing it and find out that it fixes it start a thread on it so I'll know.

I will bud, trust me. First I want to go back to factory ratio to confirm my suspicions. Then I'll see about getting 16 tooth counter shaft sprocket. My MPG took a big hit with this 44 tooth rear... 40 down to 35.

After doing the math, the difference is two sets of tires.
Last year I rode 12000 miles. At 40 MPG I burned 300 gallons of fuel. If I ride 12000 miles this year at 35 MPG I'll burn 343 gallons. I used $3.80/gallon in my computations.
Bottom line: the diffence between the two MPGs is enough scratch for two sets of tires. And I went through five sets last year.

Dang, Hagrid.
You went through 5 sets of tires last year?
I'm jealous, I'm stuck indoors waaaaaaay too much, compared to you.

Yup, all sorts of great eye candy in there.
In the picture of racing cycles, are you one of them in the picture?
I am glad you have returned. It's been too quiet around here! <big smile>.
