At the risk of being tied to the whipping post. I have been toying with the idea of adding to my 07 diablo black zx14 the same red flames that come stock on the 07 white limited zx14.I know on the old forum members for one reason or another were removing them.
I really like the look of this zx10 with the red and white flames!!!

Love the red flames goes good with the blk, but the rims being All red I'm not so sure about. May be just the photo ? Your zx would be one of kind which would be Awesome. Like the ninjamaster .SWEET.

I do like red rims on the black bikes but i still like my chromies a little better.When i was doing my rims
i was torn between the two.Was wondering if the zx10 stickers could be made to fit on the 14 or would there
be to much cutting involved.Im also a little worried about how to apply the stickers (decals) so they are as
straight as the stock ones.It would suck for sure messing up the decals when applying them,these things are not cheap

Air bubbles SUCK!!!! Water and soap helps in moving them around . But I have found out over the years that stickers and myself do not get along (I'm to fussy). There has been to many times when I should have just left the sticker alone, then I try to readjust and ruin the sticker. And like you said, Not cheap. I bet the guys here have some good tips .

Romans,Here is the link to the chrome platers that did my rims!!! They charged 500.00 for the chrome and if i remember
right it was about 100 to ship.Be warned that it takes up tp 5 weeks to get your rims back.its much quicker if you do the exchange for a pair of theres(i wanted my own back).Let me know if you need more details.

Are any of the plastics on your 08 SE in good shape?

I'm looking for the red side tail covers with the flames and there's never any mint
ones on ebay and the prices of the new oem is just ridiculous.

It is a matter of taste but as you can see from my Avatar, the flames had to go.
THat was a prereq for the purchase of the bike. If they were clear coated, I would not own an SE.
I was in the garage hours after the return of my bike doing sticker removal duty!

I just noticed the flames on the S.E. are [black] and red. That will not work with my black bike

Looks like i need to move to plan B.
