Does this sound like a good deal guys? You're expertise is appreciated. My beloved 2011 was totaled by a 20 yr. old girl rear ending me! I'll be okay, but totaled my baby :(.

I think all 2015's are abs. I bought it! Pick it up tomorrow. Looks a lot bigger than my '11, which I know the rear end, and of course that monster exhaust has to go, make it bigger. Can't wait to experience the performance and electronics!

Thanks guys! This bike is 10 times more refined than the '11 !!! Have started the upgrade process...ordered and waiting: M4 retro drag slips, centerstand, helibars, MRA touring screen, ZG double bubble ws, throttlemeister, green anodized ws wellnut kit...it's a start. Oh, and 400 break-in mi. since 9-10! Amazing machine!!

Oh yeah...nice plus....my low profile Sargent seat fit perfect! :)

Can you get the rear cowl on with that seat? Is it comfy? I might need one.....

I don't believe so darkarcher, I haven't tried. I like it for dristributing weight better. At least compared to the '11 seat. The '15 seat seamed better than the '11, but I didn't give it enough time for a fair assessment. You don't get as much padding with the low profile. Something to consider. The bike looks better without the cowl anyway imo.

Dang, thats a deal breaker if the cowl doesnt fit. I think the bike looks better with and i dont have rear pegs anymore so it would be wierd without.

Tried the stock seat again today...even though it's cushier, not nearly as comfy as the Sargent. Stock is taller of course, but narrower, and shoves you into the tank more. The wide, neutral position of the Sargent distributes your weight better, relieves pressure points, and it's much easier to move around in when doing twisties. I'll check on the cowl situation this morning after work, but pretty sure it doesn't fit.

It's strange because it has the mounting points and even supplied with nice hex head screws...but the hump between rider and passenger won't allow it?? But I have heard of some with this seat, shaving down that hump, just to be able to use the cowl. Good luck deciding.

That will be some of the best $$ ever spent on the bike. There's a product that DOES EVERYTHING it says it will do and does it 100%. HIGHLY recommended to protect your expensive aftermarket seat from sun damage while parked out in the lot all day. I use mine every day I ride to work. Also a great quick way to conceal cool doodads on the bike nefarious passersby may be tempted to play with or sit on.

Well guys, little less than 5 weeks and have 2,950 mi. on her. Switched to full synthetic just under 2 grand....getting stronger by the mile!!
