The weather sucks so after owning Delilah for a full week now, still just sitting in the garage with 7 miles on the odometer, I decided it was time to bring her over to my shop and chop the fender. It was way easier and less destructive than it was on my last motorcycle where I had taken a hacksaw and actually chopped the fender off. Before I catch crap about my bracket being excessively wide I just wanna say I meant to trim it down to size but it is 4/20 today and I did not notice it until after everything was buttoned-up so I left it as is.

Thanks cblast! I think I am going to steal your idea and throw a little paint on the cans tomorrow. I like how it really cleaned up the look on yours.... Eventually when the time is right I will toss them ugly bastards and throw on a set of yoshis. I would like to go with Brock's full CT duals but there is no way to justify $2500 on exhaust and PCV just for a street bike.

I wouldn't bother now but some time down the road, just pick up a couple L brackets. The stock fender holes in the undertail match up with lic plate holes perfectly. At least they do on the GenI. Have a look at the end of the tutorial below.

Rook- the L brackets were my original intention until I came across a small piece of sheet aluminum left over from another project and I was more easily able to adapt my tag light to it as well and run the wires through the original hole. Also I totally stole your idea for hooking up the power to the original socket for the tag lamp.

That is one big azz tank bag. Where did you get it?

It's a Laguna tankbag by First Gear. I found it at MidAmerica MotoPlex in Sioux Falls, SD. I was out there last Saturday checking out their new Triumph line they just started to sell. I wasn't sure about it at first but after a 250 mile ride with I really liked it except I couldn't hide behind the windscreen when it started to rain. Plenty of room for whatever. It made a nice resting post as well while riding. Nice overall quality.

I really like the bag and the storage it has so far. If I were a little guy I don't think I would like it. It's kinda on the big side.

Dude at 6 foot 200 this bike totally feels like it was molded to fit me like a glove. I never really got into sports bikes prior to this because they always felt to cramped and I like to ride at least 500miles at a time every weekend.

Nasty trying to drop down to 200lbs, Im on my way, but man it;s comming off slow. Everyone is like, oh good for you, good that you are putting your health first. Shit could not care less, just want to fit and feel better on the bike and increase some weight savings performance. Hehhehehehe, figuered some folks on here can relate.

I hear ya man. I was at 260 a few years ago feeling fat as all hell.
Now I bounce around 200-15 a lot. I feel better too losing all that weight.

I've been putting a lot of thought in either full or slipons. I want to keep the dual exhaust but don't want to pay the premium price and got to thinking about Akra' header pipe they offer for their slipon and got to thinking what the hell if the work with their slipons then they got to work with any slipon. So, I decided I would buy the yosh and later on down the buy the Akra headers and make it a full dual system for less than a Brock's or Akra's. I don't think anybody else is making a full dual setup. Maybe it's a bad idea, I don't know.

Dude, if the akra heads will accept the Yosh slips, then my friend you have a brilliant idea. Actually, I will buy a set with you should we confirm that it will all mock up and work. I am in full support of any idea that breaks open performance for less. What is the estimated cost on the headers???
