Not bad dehaile.
You had me going there and I'm sure Green and Somefun were just about to reply and attack...

I'd have Jolene screaming like a banshee trying if I ever come across one. Believe that!

I would go heads up against ANY H2 on the planet and bet the farm"...do you have the deed to yer farm around?I'm sorry...I've ridden both now.How many have you ridden Because your a dragger????If you want to beat an H2,I can tell ya,you'll need all the mods and nitrous you can get.Watch what happens now when these start hittin the strip.I hope you DO go up against one... please video it so we all can see how you smoke the new ninja;)
"GRN was looking for a razor blade to slit his wrist".... That's good ZX,LMAO!!!I just got this baby...haven't even broken er in all the way yet,and I'm gonna kill myself before I get a chance to really put this girl through her paces? If I do end up killing myself,it won't be from a slit wristLOL!!If ya know what I mean.
Something tells me I won't be the one to slit my wrists......

Practice up on the launch, Greenie. In a roll on, I wouldn't be too surprised if you took the win. We've been reading about the newer liter bikes spanking 14s in roll ons up to 160 mph ever since there were 14s. If you go to top speed against a boosted 14, now that would be an interesting race. It's all about aerodynamics and whose got the most hp there. I'm still having a difficult time accepting the H2 has superior aerodynamics. I can't wait to see them do LSR. I'll bet there will be a special H2 race body for that.

"Deed in hand Grn. Step right up.
8.93 @ stock wheelbase"....Hope ya know I'm just funnin ya.Stock wheelbase...the H2 does have some hook-up issues because of it's wheelbase.And it's lighter weight.
Gonna be fun watchin these h2's at the strips. So far,no one but Ricky has done this.He didn't stay at a stock wheelbase.Even his extension didn't totally correct his launches and all.

Roll-ons are designated for deodorant applicators. It's not a real sport and it's def not respected anywhere.
Not at the dragstrip. ..but if you value your clutch.... I agree though, starting from a dead stop is the true test but then throw in top speed as well and you have a better idea of which bike is faster. Even if you loose the launch, a faster bike should reel the opponent in.
Trade bikes and do an honest race all out one more time. Same bike wins, it's faster. Same rider wins, he's a betterrider. I guess you assume the bikes are pretty equal if neither guy closes ground on the other in either race.

Lift arm and applicate.
That's the abbreviated version ... here's the full:
- Pull in clutch
- Lift arm and applicate throttle into power band
- Release clutch as needed to gain speed without allowing RPM to fall below power band
- Navigate to victory

Does it all really matter?
ZX-14R or H2?
Two unbelievable bikes.
Put them together in stock configuration with the same rider and the H2 would probably be quicker in a straight line and definitely in the twisties.
But I would hazard to say the differences wouldn't be chasm like.
The H2 wins the apearence stakes hands down IMO.
Street cred? Both impressive but H2 again.
But will I be buying an H2?
No, because I love touring with the boys and the H2 has poor luggage capacity and probably isn't quite as comfortable. Plus the large 14 fairings must protect from the wind a little more which is key over long distances.
Two kick arse bikes with their own advantages.
One thing is for sure. Chose either and you are a huge winner with which ever package you go for.
Which one will you chose?
So boys keep your deeds in the safe, pull in the chests just a touch and enjoy whatever you may have in the shed because regardless they are both awesome machines...
But please Grn14 and Somefun, keep the pics, info and reviews on your new H2's coming.
Top reads.

Just simply not true. The 14R's torque will devastate an H2 in a straight line. "IF" the H2 was indeed quicker than my R, then I would jump ship in a heart beat. You guys know that I am the acceleration junkie here, but I would have to own the H2R and at that price point... It just doesn't make any sense.

"Sorry Grn but Ricky doesn't have an H2"...you're starting to sound confused a bit yerself....You think I don't know the difference between Ricky's H2 and MY H2?.Besides...what did HE call it....(drum roll pls)He called it...his HYBRID H2...NOT H2R......A mix of BOTH models.Sheesh.Give me a teensy bit of credit about knowing one from the other,?????
"This one-of-a-kind motorcycle was specially designed in conjunction with Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. to meet certain drag racing specifications.
For Rickey’s part, he worked on a number of other modifications to enhance the motorcycle’s on-track prowess. These include a Strong Arm extended swing arm from Adam’s Performance. It accommodates a Brock’s Performance BST carbon fiber rear wheel to save weight, while a Ninja H2 cast aluminum front wheel was used on the front.
Completing the rear-end upgrades, Gadson added a JRI rear shock and equipped the motorcycle with a handlebar-mounted air shifter, which works in conjunction with the Kawasaki Quick Shifter on the Ninja H2".
As for the motor,we really don't know if it's an H2R or a somewhat modified H2 engine.Just looking at it doesn't tell everything. It COULD be a totally full on H2R motor, but then again...it was specially designed for his drag racing testing(at Kawasaki).Meaning,It COULD have a modified exhaust(to fit an H2 engine),yet have the H2 motor in there with some ECU tweaks. He doesn't say.
"which works in conjunction with the Kawasaki Quick Shifter on the Ninja H2"."...they're telling us right there it's an H2 shifter.Otherwise, they'd have said...the H2R shifter. If that's what the platform was.It isn't an H2R platform.
Don't be sorry for me.I know what the bike is.
